Coast/Beach
The distance to beach is 200m (5 mins walking). There is a beautiful beach where to rent beach-umbrella, chairs, motor boats for visiting the splendid coast, rich of bays, inlets and spectacular caves. Diving school nearby. During the summer months you can hire boats, pedalos and jet skis. In high season the beach has bars and clubs. For 10 months of the year you can practically have a beach all to yourself.
Skiing
One hour from ski centre in winter.
Travel
The distance of railway station is 500m. The distance of nearest airport (Lametia Terme) is 70km (1 hour drive). The distance of Naples's airport is 200km. Car hire not essential as there is a local taxi/minibus that can collect from the airport and take on any trips required once in the area. Mobility scooter available to rent.
Distances
Naples and Reggio Calabria are 2 hours driving (2 hours by train). The wonderfull Maratea is 15 mins driving (15 by train, 25 min by boat).
Further details
Situated close to an attire of shops , supermarket, pharmacy, cafe, pizzerie, pub and disco. Within the village there are several restaurants and coffee bars, small supermarkets, delicatessens, baker, butcher, post office and gift shops. Possibility, besides, to practise: rafting (to 6km), tennis, football, trekking, bicycling, fishing scuba diver, nautical ski, windsurf, canoe, sail, draught with the arc and horseback riding. Very interesting it is the visit of the ancient country of Scalea, with characteristic streets and typical restaurants in which to eat plate of the ‘Calabria’ kitchen.
