This rustic stone house is situated in the town of Bene Lario, It has been lovingly restored by the owner, with use of wood, stones, Italian Piode and high quality furnishings.The village of Bene Lario, rising between the left bank of the Civagno torrent and the slopes of Calbiga mount, enjoys the unique advantage of being surrounded by wonderful green woods. As part of the nature reserve of the Piano lake, Bene Lario is one of the favourite destinations for hikers from all over Europe. Alongside with the centre of this wonderful ancient village characterised by its typical cobblestone paving and its old fountains, it is worth visiting the church of The Holy Trinity and the church of St. Vito and St. Modesto and, of course, the old flour mills now in disuse. The main traffic does not go through making the house quieter with peace and clean air. From there you are Less than 15 min from Lugano and Como Lake with their beautiful villages as Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna and Tremezzo.

Skiing
The nearest skiing resorts are Saint Moritz in Switzerland or Bormio, Madesimo and Livigno in Italy, all with lots and wonderful ski slopes for different skiing level. Ski equipment can be rented. These resorts are so beautiful that we recommend you to visit also them in the summer season if you want to have a trip.
