Outside
There is a large patio area to the front and side and a large private landscaped garden to the side with natural stone steps up to an elevated area which has even more spectacular views. The garden gets sunlight from early morning for most of the day. Relax in this beautiful space and soak up the views and the beautiful scents from the many plants. There is an old pear tree which bears fruit in the summer and provides shelter from the sun if it gets too hot. There is beautiful outdoor furniture for relaxing and dining.
Coast/Beach
100m walk from the lake and Laguna Beach, a mecca for lovers of wind-sports. Great for viewing if you are not the adventurous type. Relax by the lake shore and soak up the views with a warm gentle breeze. Lorenzos Pizzeria serves amazing pizzas and pastas with the Bistro/bar offering a contemporary setting to unwind and watch the day go by. There is a beautiful lake-front walk from here to the next village of Musso, passing by the lovely marina along the way.
Golf
The villa is approx 15 minutes drive from the famous Menaggio Golf Club, which has spectacular views of the lake and is one of the oldest clubs in Italy. There are many other golf clubs in close proximity and details can be obtained from the local tourist office in Menaggio or online.
Skiing
Madesimo is a very good beautiful Italian resort, approx 1.25 hours drive from the villa. This is not very well known outside Italy but it is very well serviced and not too busy or expensive. There are many other resorts within a 2 hour drive, with St.Moritz in Switzerland probably the most famous. There are also some small, local resorts that would be within a 45 minute drive. For the more adventurous types, there is a flood-lit night-time run in close proximity also.

Numerous lake front restaurants allow you to dine alfresco and taste delicious homemade Italian food while enjoying amazing views of the surrounding landscape across the lake. There are many local supermarkets, tobacco shop, bars and a bakery (make sure you go early for the most beautiful fresh breads). There is a bank and post office and hair and beauty. Marina for boating, ferry pick-up for touring the lake, bus stop, taxi service. Tennis court and enclosed football pitch, while, minutes away, there is an indoor swimming pool.

30% deposit to secure booking. Balance 8 weeks prior to arrival. A fully refundable security deposit of 250 euros to be paid on arrival and re-paid at check-out.
