Notes on prices
Pets are not allowed. Air conditioning, electricity, gas and water included. Laundry service 5 euros per wash. Final cleaning included. Additional housekeeping service 12 euros per hour. Extra sets of linens 10 euros per set. Heating not included 20 per day, if any. Security deposit: 250 euros in traveler checks by the client directly to the owner. Check-in after 4pm.

This house is handicapped accessible.
Outside
Private parking is available one step from the villa. This house has one of the most glorious pool areas we have ever offered. The main pool is 61'8" x 29'3" and there is also a shallow kids pool which is 13' x 29'3" both surrounded by an enormous fenced yard. There is also a terrace adjacent to the kitchen.
Golf
Montelupo Golf club (9 holes) and San Miniato golf club (9 holes) are both 10 minutes driving far from the villa.
Further details
There is a tennis club just 3km away. A bank, drug store, food shops, supermarket and post office are all 4km away. Please note that you need a car to stay at the villa. Vinci (birthplace of Leonardo) and San Miniato (with golf club) are just 10 kilometres away, Florence is 30km and Pisa 50km.

Payment procedure: Within 4 days of this confirmation a deposit (thanks to your credit card Visa or Mastercard) of 30% is required. The balance to be paid 60 days prior your arrival by credit card. Cancellation Policy: Bookings may be cancelled at any time via email or fax - the confirmation deposit of 30% is automatically forfeited by cancelling.

I am just writing to express how pleased we were with our recent stay (16/7 for 2 weeks) at Villa Il Guscio. This was our fifth summer staying in Tuscany and most enjoyable. The villa was very well maintained and very beautiful! The air conditioning was much appreciated and made for a comfortable stay. The pool was a fantastic size and, again, very well maintained. However, it was the friendliness of the owner, Mrs. Birinli, and staff that really added to the holiday. The keyholder in particular was always attentive and helpful without being intrusive. Unfortunately we didn't pick up his name. We would be most grateful if you could pass on our appreciation to all concerned.
