The apartment is situated in one of the most exclusive areas in Rome - it is a few minutes walk from the entrance to the famous Vatican Museum, the Basilica of San Pietro, and the Castle of Sant'Angelo. In spite of the apartment being located right in the centre of the city, the surroundings are unusually quiet and peaceful, with a front view of the walls of the Vatican and a back view overlooking a garden. At the same time it is not far from a more animated area, with many restaurants, wine bars, pubs, pizzerie, discotheques, cinema, shops, etc. You will be supplied with maps of the city, telephone numbers and addresses of various restaurants. In addition you will be provided with all the necessary items for the preparation of breakfast.

Travel
From Fiumicino airport take the train that will bring you to the main terminal station, from where you should take the underground to the station of Cipro Musei Vaticani. From Ciampino Airport, take the shuttle bus to the Anagnina Metro Station, and from there take the metro the the station of Cipro Musei Vaticani. Car is not necessary.
Distances
The Musei Vaticani make upthe world's largest musum complex, with around a dozen self-contained museums in 1,400 rooms.However, do not miss the Capella Sistina,with its frescoes by Michelangelo. The Vatican City, an area covering about 109 acres around the Basilica of St. Peter, in the heart of Rome, is the world's smallest independent sovereign state.
