Casa Castagno is a nice restored farmhouse with original details. The house offers a lot of privacy in the Italian countryside. From the large garden with olive trees you have a great view on the Sibillini mountains, which are great for walking and can be reached within 45 minutes. The coast with large beaches can be reached in only 25 minutes by car. The region has a wealth of natural, cultural and historic places of interest. Also great possibility's for hiking in the surroundings of Casa Castagno.

In Casa Castagno no pets are allowed.
Outside
Beside the 150 sq.m. terrace, overlooking the country land of Le Marche, there is a large garden with olive trees. There is a lot of outside furniture around the house for outside dinners or sunbathing. In the garden there is also a barbecue ready to use.
Coast/Beach
Adriatic coastal resort of Porto San Giorgio is 25 minutes drive. There are miles of sandy beaches, great facilities and calm waters, ideal for children. Other places Cupra Marittima and San Bernadetto del Tronto are seaside towns with lovely beaches, good restaurants and shopping.
Golf
There are two golf courses in the region. The I Lauri golf course is only 25 minutes by car and the Conero golf course is 50 minutes away from the house.
Skiing
Skiing is in the local town of Sassotetto near Sarnano and there are a range of pistes and all equipment can be rented. It is considered good 'family' skiing and there are restaurants.
Travel
The nearest airport is Ancona (Ryanair) 1 hour drive and car hire available. Other possibility's are Pescara (1,5 hours), Rimini (2 hours) Bologna (3 hours) or Rome (3 hours). All served by Ryanair!
Distances
2km to Montottone with everything you'll need supermarket, butcher, bar (for the real Italian cappuccino), restaurant, pharmacy etc. Fermo 20km. Macerata 30km. Ascoli Piceno 50km.
