These luxurious and spacious newly restored properties are ideal for a perfect 'chill-out' holiday and to explore the unspoilt Puglia region. Two 3 bedroom trulli, each set in its own grounds, 60 metres apart, renovated in early 2008 to a high standard with salt water swimming pool, located between Alberobello and Castellana Grotte. Spectacular views over countryside. 19000sq.m of olive, cherry and almond trees, between Alberobello and Castellana Grotte, 20 minutes from Adriatic Coast, 50 minutes from Bari or Brindisi Airports (both are Ryanair Stansted destinations). Ideal for 2 family holidays. Also great for Autumn and Winter holidays with our log burning stove for those cosy evenings.

Prices are per week per trullo in euros and UK Pounds.
5% discount when book both trulli for 2 weeks of more.
Exclusivity:( available May, June and September only). If both trulli are available and you would prefer not to share the pool for a supplement of £350/€400 a week we will not take bookings on the other trullo (reasonable rent policy still applies).

Changeover day
Prefer Friday, Saturday, or Sunday during high season, but other days on request.

12x6m salt water swimming pool, with large terraces around the pool and trulli. Garden tables and chairs. BBQ.

Coast/Beach
20 minutes from Adriatic Coast both sandy and rocky beaches from Ionian sea, 10 from Castellana Grotte, 15 from Alberobello.

Travel
Flight into either Bari or Brindisi from Stansted. 40 minutes from both. Also you may take train.

Booking notes
Deposit: we require a deposit of 25% to secure your booking at the time of your reservation this covers cancellations. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to your holiday plus £250/€250 as security against any damage to the property. We return the security deposit 1 week after your holiday completion.

Owner profile


About the owner
We are a married couple with four grown up children. We enjoy travelling and visiting new places. We play golf and ski. We are both semi retired and visit France and Italy (where we own 2 trulli ) when ever we can.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
In 2006 we visited Puglia for the first time for a holiday and visited Alberobello where we learnt about i trulli. We liked the area so much that we considered purchasing a trullo in its original unrestored form. We liked the unspoilt coast and countryside.The calmness and peacefulness of staying in the country..very relaxing . We like the puglian way of life. The offer we made was not accepted so a few months later we made another visit this time we were successful and purchased 2 trulli restored to the 'shell' stage so new windows, floors, kitchens etc. had to be added and a pool. Luckily we found a fantastic agent who helped us complete the renovations, It was finished on time, to budget and to a very high build standard.

Unique benefits of the property
It great staying at our trulli in a large group of up to 12 or staying in one of our trullo .They are far enough apart to create enough space and the pool is large enough for 2 families. We enjoy visiting the local villages especially on market day. going to the coast for lunch or just relaxing by the pool with a BBq at night. We visit the trull every month in low season and try to stay for a month once a year. Each year we improve the property with any profits we make for both our clients and our enjoyment. In the spring and autumn in the evening we light the log burning stove. This and the under floor heating make the trullo very cosyWe hope our guests enjoy them as much as we do.. this season is our 4th season Enjoy
