This apartment is situated in the historical centre of Trapani, right on the beautiful west coast of Sicily. It has a very pleasant outdoor terrace for alfresco dining. The apartment offers a good base for visiting places of great historical and archaeological interest. Delicious local cuisine and excellent wine. The apartment offers an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Egadi Islands of Levanzo, Marettimo and Favignana as it is situated 5 mins walk from the port. The charming historical town of Erice, the renowned archeological sites of Mozia, Segesta and Selinunte are all within good driving distance. Nature lovers will be enraptured by the beauty of the National Park of Lo Zingaro on the coast. A small sandy beach is about 10 mins walk and a rocky beach is also a few mins walk from the apartment.

A rocky beach is a few minutes walk from the apartment. A small sandy beach is about 10 mins walk and the main beach of Trapani is 30 mins walk or 10 mins by car.
Travel
Trapani airport is a 20 min drive away and Palermo Airport is a 1 hour drive from the apartment. Car hire is not essential as the apartment is located near public transport facilities.
Distances
5 mins walk to the port for boats to the islands of Levanzo, Favignana and Marettimo (the Egadi Islands). 20 mins by road to the charming mountaintop medieval town of Erice. 35 mins by road to the Greek archaeological site of Segesta. 30 mins by road to the ancient Phoenician settlement of Mozia. 40 mins by road to one of the most beautiful white sandy beaches in Sicily, San Vito. 1 hour by road to the magnificent Phoenician archaeological site of Selinunte and the beach.
Further details
There is a small local supermarket, which is located opposite the apartment. There are plenty of bakeries in the immediate area, a famous traditional pizzeria a few metres away, banks and a post office are also close by. There are lots of nice shops for clothes, shoes and gifts. Thermal water swimming pools are located near Segesta about 40 mins drive. This is a very relaxing and therapeutic activity.
Booking notes
30% deposit is required on booking and the remaining 70% balance is payable at least 1 month prior to departure. For bookings made 1 month or less before arrival date, the full amount is required immediately.
Guest comments
The apartment was conveniently located in the centre of Trapani close to shops and restaurants. It was well-equipped and benefited from a terrace where we could sit out and eat. The town centre is pedestrianised and without traffic noise, waking up in the morning to the sound of noisy seagulls made a change! The ferry terminal and bus stops were a short walking distance. Chika was very friendly and helpful, and made sure all our needs were met.

Apartment was great - sparkling clean and massive for two of us, with everything we needed. Also in a great spot, near to the beach and the main street, though we had no problem with noise at all. Trapani is fantastic - loads to eat and plenty to do.
