The villa is very well situated with easy access to the surrounding coastal and hilltop towns. Within a 10 min drive is Locorotondo, a hilltop town of remarkable circular design with whitewashed houses and a large ‘cantina’ selling excellent local wine, historic Alberobello a UNESCO heritage site and a unique and fascinating place to explore its thousands of trulli. Within 25 minutes is Martina Franca an elegant baroque town, Cisternino famous for its gastronomy, and hilltop Ostuni known as the ‘White City’ as it glows day and night. Nearby is Castellana Grotte famed as the most spectacular limestone caves in Italy, the archaeological ruins of Egnazia, and a Zoo Safari Park, ideal family fun. The village bar/restaurants serving local specialities is just 5 minutes drive and 15 minutes gets you to Savelletri, a small fishing village with an abundance of beachside restaurants

Notes on prices
Prices are per property per week in euros.
The price list is in reference to two bedrooms (4 beds). For weekly cleaning there is an additional charge of 30 euros. The consumption of electricity is not included. It is payable at the end of your stay.
Changeover day
Changeover days in the mid and high season are Saturday or Sunday, with departures by 11am and arrivals after 3pm. If there are gaps, we can be flexible on this - please do ask. Please note swimming pool is open between 1 June and 30 September.

| Living Rooms: | Entrance is from the portico into a modern very spacious open plan lounge/dining area with a large dining table/chairs (8) and a comfy seating area. TV, a little open fire place. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All towels and linen for use within the villa are included. Does not include pool/beach towels. Cleaning is done once a week, on changeover day. Finally at the end of your stay you must pay only euros 30 for cleaning-lady. |
Accessibility
Due to the number of steps leading up to the villa this property is not suitable for wheelchair access or elderly people.
Outside
Outside is very large panoramic sun terrace, accessed from the portico, furnished a big-table, chairs, and living area. In swimming-pool area, in front of portico, there are sun-bed and umbrella. In the same level of portico there is the swimming pool (10x5m and 1-2.5m deep). There is a car parking for 1 car in the villa and another one outside. The garden is totally enclosed by a brick wall.
Coast/Beach
With over 400 miles of coastline, Puglia has a huge selection of sandy beaches/coves (all of which have blue flag status) and there are plenty of activities for the water sports enthusiasts. A 15 min drive from the villa and you will find you an array of small sandy beaches and coves - Savelletri, Torre Cane, Capitolo.
Golf
If it is golfing you are looking for then Puglia has five major courses to offer. The 5* San Domenico Golf resort and SPA near the fishing village of Savelettri, is the closest at only a 10-15 min drive.
Travel
45 mins from Bari Airport, 35 mins from Brindisi Airport. RyanAir fly from Stansted to Brindisi and Bari, British Airways fly from Gatwick to Bari, and Al Italia fly into Brindisi via main Italian airports. Blu-Express offer cheap flights from Rome to Bari. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Within 10-15 mins Alberobello, Locorotondo, Fasano/Zoo Safari, beaches. Within 15/25 minutes Martina Franca, Ostuni, Polignano al Mare, Castellana Grotte. Further afield- Matera, a town home to 13th century cave dwelling 'sassi', many with original cave wall frescoes. From one hour and a half to Lecce, famous for its unique architecture and known as the 'Florence of the South'.
Further details
There is no limit to the amount of activities you can do in the region whether you prefer soaking up the sun, shopping, sightseeing or something more active. Beautiful architecture, ancient castles and Baroque churches can be found in all the local towns and eating is an activity in itself as the region is a food and wine lovers paradise - no matter how hard you try it is difficult to eat badly. With over 400 miles of coastline, Puglia has a huge selection of sandy beaches/coves (all of which have blue flag status) and there are plenty of activities for the water sports enthusiasts. Puglia gets close to 300 days sunshine a year with the warm weather starting in April and going right through until the end of October. The hottest months are July and August but with two seas around the area the air does not feel too oppressive during these months, especially as the property is located on a hillside. Spring and autumn is glorious- sunny and warm with wild flowers in abundance. Italians are unashamedly devoted to celebrating everything Italian - religion, food, love... And they show it with festivals, there's almost one a week in the summer, celebrating everything from classical music to grapes. These family orientated events provide great free outdoor entertainment and gives you an insight into the wonderful hospitable Pugliese people. Booking notes
30% is payable with bank transfer (in euro) on booking confirmation, and the balance is payable in the same method, 8 weeks before the beginning of your stay, or in cash (euro) on arrival. There is also a returnable security deposit of 250 euros to be paid on arrival and returned at the end of your holiday. 10% discount on list price if you book before the end of January 2009.
