A superb 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom property with a spacious sitting room and a large light and airy modern kitchen. The restoration has been done to the highest standards. Built entirely from the traditional beautiful rosy white stone of Puglia it stands on a quiet hillside at the top of a field of olive and almond trees. Sitting on the large veranda with the building glowing in the evening light, you will know why we called it Casa Pietraluna - Moonstone. This luxurious retreat is only 4 minutes drive from the centre of Alberobello, the beautiful small town in the heart of Valle d'Itria that is a World Heritage Centre - 'Capitale dei Trulli'.

Changeover day
Our preferred changeover day is Saturday but we will consider other days out of the high season (July and August). Please email your requirements.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | The Master Bedroom with a double bed has a dressing area and en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is another double-bedded room and the third bedroom has a single bed. All have ample wardrobes and drawers. Other bed arrangements are available on request. |
| Bathrooms: | The en suite bathroom has shower, toilet, bidet and basin set in an antique marble top. The house bathroom has shower, toilet, bidet and basin unit with lights and shaver point. Ample cupboard space for toiletries. |
| Kitchen: | Large airy dining kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, extractor fan, large fridge/freezer, toaster, washing machine, dishwasher. Lots of pots, pans, dishes, plates, utensils - all you'll need for self-catering. |
| Living Rooms: | The Salone (day room) is a large double coned room that has been beautifully restored. Cool in the heat of summer, warm and cosy when the wood fire is lit in autumn/winter. TV, DVD/CD player, 2 sofas and space for double put-u-up bed. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Full set of towels and linen is included and changed weekly. The trullo is fully cleaned and replenished (water/gas) each week. |
Notes on accommodation
The kitchen opens out onto the veranda where breakfast at sunrise is stunning and a candlelit dinner is romantic.
The salone is a cool retreat from the heat of the summer and is warm and cosy on cool autumn evenings with the central heating and/or wood fire.
This trullo is spacious, all on one level with good normal headroom, comfortable, fully fitted and ready for you to use as a 'chill-out' retreat and base to explore the wonderful area of Alberobello and Puglia.
We can provide cots and highchairs for infants - on request.

Outside
The house doors open onto a terrace of beautiful local stone, you can step down into the large curved garden piazzala - the barbecue area is to the right. The field of olive and fruit trees is on the other side of the drive, your view is over olive and fruit groves to the far horizon.
Ample private parking, outside lighting and power points.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful Adriatic beaches are 20/25 mins drive away. You can choose from public or private, white sandy beach, rock pools or dunes - all are easily available.
Travel
We are one (1) hour from Bari and Brindisi airports, UK visitors can fly direct from Stansted or Gatwick or via Rome or Milan from almost every airport in UK. Other visitors will normally enter Italy at Rome and connect on internal flights to Bari. A car is essential.

We are 5 mins drive or 30 mins walk from Alberobello - UNESCO World Heritage Site.
20/25 mins from the Adriatic coast.
20/30 mins from Martina Franca - a bustling Baroque town with beautiful historic centre and shops.
Castellana Grotte - largest cave system in Italy.
Locorotondo - 'round town' the beautiful white town specialising in local food & wine.
Ostuni - the white city with stunning views.
Polignano a Mare - one of many beautiful coastal towns.
