Terra Sessana consists of 3 : the Masseria, a restored noble house from the 1800s; a trulli house overlooking the sweeping fields of the Sessana district, and a Lamia.Each of the properties has its own private garden and private swimming pool and can be rented together or as separate units. The complex takes its name from the area in which it is located: Contrada Sessana, whose name, in turn, derives from the Latin “sanus”, meaning “healthy” and brings to mind the idea of a healthy life in harmony with nature. The Masseria, trulli and lamia have recently been restored to their original splendour by master stonemasons using traditional stone working materials and techniques. Each property has been tastefully furnished and features stone-vaulted ceilings, original stone flooring and stone fire places. The blue sky, ancient olive trees, fragrance and colours of the Mediterranean vegetation provide a perfect backdrop to this charming place.
