Accessibility
The apartment is all on one level with stairs leading down from the main road (as shown in photo).

Beautiful views. There is an outside seating area with a table, parasol, chairs, sun loungers and a BBQ
Coast/Beach
The area boasts miles and miles of coastline, the nearest beach is San Vito which is 25 mins by car and is half sand and half stone. There is another beach called LeMorge which is 35 mins by car and is all sand. Both beaches have breakers creating a safe swimming area for children. The coastline also boasts the famous Trabbochi (wooden fishing shacks).
Skiing
The nearest ski resorts are Passo Lanciano and Roccaraso, the biggest of the two being Roccaraso.

Two mountain bikes are available to hire for a small fee.
Travel
Airports - Pescara: 45km / 1 hour drive. Rome (Fiumincino and Ciampino) 2½ hours drive. Ancona 2 hours drive.
Railway - Lanciano 13km / 20 mins drive.
Ferry - Pescara 45km / 1 hour drive.
Car hire is reccomended.
Distances
Casoli is 14km / 20 mins drive. Guardaigrele is 14km / 20 mins drive.
Further details
In the village centre of Sant' Eusanio del Sangro (10 mins walk) there are 2 supermarkets, 2 cafe's, bank with cash machine, bakery and paper shop (no English papers I’m afraid!) and there is a market selling fresh produce every Tuesday morning. The area has 2 restaurants, Lu Piccione (2 mins walk) and Santa Lucia (3 mins drive) and 2 Pizzaria's, The Queen Bee (10 mins walk) and Cafe di Paris (5 mins drive). In the village there are 2 parks with swings, slides etc, a tennis court and 5 aside football pitch.
In the area there are lots of places of interest Pennapiedemonte has a beautiful gorge walk with magnificent views. Indiana Park is an outdoor activity centre. Oasi di Serranella WWF nature reserve, which the river Sangro flows through. Grotto di Cavallone, a cage ride up the mountains to a cave with guided tours. Lanciano is great for shopping and is also home to the church of the Eucharistic Miracle which allegedly contains a drop of the blood of Christ. There are many lakes in the area 2 of which are Lake Bomba and Lake Casoli.

Damage bond of £100 cheque on arrival, to be returned on departure subject to inspection. Discount for 2 or more weeks on request. Weekend or midweek breaks also available on request. Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion.
