Villa Mandorlo is set in lovely countryside just outside the pretty town of San Vito Dei Normanni located in the unspoilt region of Puglia. The villa's tranquil location is perfect for anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle and experience a taste of real Italian country living. It is nestled in a 2 acre olive grove with fig, pear and almond trees. The large covered veranda is perfect for al fresco dining and the roof terrace has views of the surrounding countryside. Nearby San Vito is a lively town where you can relax with a cappuccino in the main piazza and experience typical Italian life. There are plenty of great restaurants in the area and at the local beach resorts where you can try delicious local specialities.

Coast/Beach
The beautiful beaches of the Adriatic are a 10 minute drive away and continue right up the coast to Bari. There is a beach to suit everybody - from quiet unspoilt beaches to busy resorts with all amenities and watersports. Torre Guaceto National Park beaches 15 minutes away. 40 minutes drive to the beaches on the Ionian sea.
Travel
Brindisi airport 15 minutes drive (Ryanair direct from Stansted, Alitalia not direct), 1 hour to Bari airport (Ryanair direct from Stansted and BA direct from Gatwick, Alitalia not direct). Car essential.
Distances
3 km to San Vito Dei Normanni with shops, restaurants etc. 15 minutes to beautiful and historic Ostuni with fabulous restaurants and places of interest.
1 hour to Lecce and Bari.
3 hours drive to Naples.
5 hours to Rome.
Further details
Puglia is in Italy's sundrenched Southern heel. It is relatively undisovered and has a wealth of beautiful beaches and places of interest. The traditional trulli (cone-shaped dwellings) can be seen throughout the area and in particular in the famous town of Alberobello. The ancient hill-top towns of Ostuni and Martina Franca offer pretty winding streets and panoramic views to the coast as well as great shopping and restaurants.
For the kids there is a Safari Park at Fasano (30 mins drive) as well as opportunities for watersports, go-karting other activities within easy driving distance.
Booking notes
25% deposit payable on booking (non-refundable). Full payment 6 weeks before departure. A refundable damage deposit of £150 is required and will be returned 7 days after departure.
