The house is situated in a quiet village, 20 minutes drive from Pineto beach and about the same to the Gran Sasso mountains. It is 40 minutes from Pescara airport, 1.5 hours from Ancona airport and 1 3/4 hours from Rome airport. It is surrounded by some fantastic medeival villages, it is inundated with great restaurants all serving fantastic wines. We are looking to organise white truffle hunting and cookery classes. Some guests this summer have described the house as the best they have ever stayed in, the testimonials have been added to our personal website. The property has high vaulted ceilings, it is double glazed and has shutters to keep the heat of the day out. The village has a two restaurants, a bakers, a post office and a bar. The local supermarket is a short drive. The house also has a fire place and is fully centrally heated. Ski resorts are about 1.5 hours away, so it is a good winter option too.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Three nights stays considered in low season at £400 subject to availability. Long winter lets considered prices on application.
Changeover day
Saturday, but out of season can be flexible and will consider long weekend breaks.

House towels and linen are provided, suggest guests bring beach towels or towels for the pool.
Property is cleaned once a week at which point linen and towels would be exchanged for clean ones. |

Accessibility
One of our bedrooms in downstairs, but it has not specifically been adapted for wheelchair users, but they might be able to use it as it has a big walk in shower. There are steps down to the pool area so that probably would not be suitable.
Outside
The pool is 8 metres by 4 metres, it is totally private and for use of our guests only. It is not heated as the summer sun does that for us. We have a large patio table with umbrella and chairs + 8 loungers and a hammock. We also have a barbecue. The pool is protected from the house by a gate. All guests swim at there own risk. The pool is maintained regularly, by a local villager.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful sandy beaches of Pineto are about 30 minutes drive from the house.
Golf
Golf Pescara and country club about 40 minutes drive.
Skiing
The two main skiing areas in Abruzzo are the Gran Sasso and Maella mountains. See our personal website for more details.
Travel
Nearest airport is Pescara about 40 mins drive. Ancona is about 1.5 hours. Rome is about 1 3/4 hours. Car hire is essential to get around this stunningly beautiful area.
Distances
The small village of Villa Bozza nestling in the hills in the Montefino municipality of Teramo province of Abruzzo has 2 great restaurants, a shop, a bar and a garage. The pretty little town of Castilenti is some 3km south of Villa Bozza and the bigger town of Atri is 15 mins by car. See our website for further areas of interest.

Booking notes
25% non refundable deposit on confirmation of booking, balance to be paid 6 weeks before start of stay. We also take a security deposit of £200 6 weeks before the start of the stay, this is refundable 14 days after the stay, assuming there are no breakages etc.
