The Agritourism "Poggio delle Conche" is situated 5 kms. from Pitigliano in the heart of the Grosseto Maremma. The recently restructured building is on a hill which overlooks the valley and is surrounded by the farm's vineyards. It is divided into four apartments plus an extra room with bathroom. All are furnished with taste and have every comfort. There is a (salt) swimming pool and there is also a BBQ for the use of guests. The farmhouse is in a beautiful tranquil and quiet area. All apartments are equipped with air conditioning, and on the ground floor there are fireplaces in all the kitchens. The surrounding area is full of wonderful places to visit.

Notes on accommodation
This is ideal accommodation for group holidays as the whole structure can be rented.
The floors are in terracotta and there are a lot of pieces of artisan work to be found e.g. fireplaces, ironwork etc.
There is also the possibility of buying "Poggio delle Conche" own olive oil production.
Outside
The swimming pool is a private pool for guests with a panoramic view. It is kidney shaped and is about 13 x 7 metres with a depth of 1.40 metres. It also has a special salt cleaning device.
The patio has chairs and tables for guests.
The BBQ is also for visitors.
In the morning, at the reception desk information can be had on excursions, restaurants (with special agreements with Poggio) and any other requirements.
Coast/Beach
The Argentario (Porto Ercole, Santo Stefano and Ansedonia)
with perfect beaches are about 50 kms. from Pitigliano. The towns and coast road are particularly delightful.

Further details
The small medieval town of Pitigliano is splendid and hangs on a tufa outcrop. There is the Orsini fortress, the Jewish quarter with its synagogue and of particular interest are the Etruscan streets (Vie Cave.)
Local products include excellent white wines (Bianco di Pitigliano) and red. There is an excellent selection of gastronomic products.
