Villa Paolillo is a large beautiful private spacious villa surrounded by lemon groves and olive trees and is set in a peaceful location. The villa can be found in the Sopra Mare quarter of the village just a short walk from Amalfi.There is a lovely terrace for alfresco dining which has magnificent sea views over Amalfi. There are numerous lovely walks nearby including a walk up into the village piazza which has a small selection of shops and a few restaurants. There is also a lovely walk down into Amalfi and the beaches which takes approximately 10 minutes. There is a regular bus service from the village of Pogerola down into Amalfi which runs every hour, from Amalfi there are regular buses along the coast to Naples, Sorrento, Positano, Ravello etc. There is also a regular boat service to the nearby islands of Ischia and Capri. All in all the villa is set in a perfect central location to explore all of the Amalfi coast. Guests will not be disappointed with the position of the villa.

Discounts for long winter lets, 3 weeks plus. 50% deposit required when booking.
Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday although this is flexible out of season only (Nov - March). Please vacate the villa by 10am at the latest. Arrivals after 4pm.

| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Linen, towels and tea towels are included. However if extra cleaning and fresh sheets are required during your stay this can be arranged at a charge of 60 euros per clean. This will be payed directly to the cleaner on arrival. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa is large enough to accomadate two familes comfortably. Not suitable for pushchairs, possibly unsuitable for younger children and not reccomended for the elderly or infirm / unfit because of the location of the property (walk from the village parking area which includes steps) .Although children are welcome. Highchair and travel cot available. Hairdryer at property. Last minute discounts available for winter breaks (Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb). Extensive dvd library at the villa.
No dogs. We clearly state that we do NOT allow dogs to stay in the villa. If you arrive with a dog I'm afraid you will not be allowed to stay in the villa. Please note that there is not a phone at the villa but mobile phones work quite well.

Accessibility
The property is unsuitable for those with mobility problems (no hand rail on some of the steps) and a degree of fitness is required when taking down luggage. Assistance can be arranged for transportation of luggage both up and down to the villa on request. Pick up from the airport is available on request 200 euros return for 4 people from Naples). Your driver will be happy to make a stop to purchase groceries.
Outside
Large private terrace surrounded by lemon groves and overlooking the coast perfect for al fresco dining! Outside dining table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
5 min drive into Amalfi and coast or 10 min walk down footpath close to villa. The villa overlooks the coast.
Special interest holidays
1.5 hour drive from Naples and museums, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Mount Vesuvius. Nearby Islands of Capri and Ischia. Positano, Ravello, Sorento, Amalfi 5 mins by car. Christmas, New Year and Easter in Amalfi are wonderful times to visit, lots of procesions and fire works. Spectacular New Years Eve celebrations. Wonderful day trips by boat from Amalfi to the nearby island of Capri.
Travel
Nearest airport is Naples, 1.5 - 2 hour drive. Collection from airport can be arranged but is not included in price of villa. Return pick up for 4 people from Naples Airport is 200 euros and includes assistance with your luggage.
Distances
Distance to nearest town of Amalfi is 3km down by road (10 mins by foot down footpath which runs near to the villa) 15km to Positano. 12km to Ravello.
Distance to nearest grocery shops is the Piazza in Pogerola, situated a 10 minute walk from the villa.
Further details
The village of Pogerola di Amalfi has a greengrocer, butcher, general store for supplies, a bar and 2 restaurants. There is FREE parking near the village Piazza (ask Gerardo in 'Gerry's bar') for directions! Private secured parking also available, again see Gerardo for more info on price etc.
Booking notes
50% non refundable deposit when booking, payment in full 6 weeks before arrival. Payment in full if within 6 weeks of arrival. Meet and great on arrival where you will be shown to villa and key handover. Sorry, but we do not allow additional guests to stay in the villa (other than those named at the time of booking).
