Our bright, new (built in 2006) modern apartment is within 2 minutes walk of Lake Como’s shore, in one of the most beautiful and spectacular locations in Northern Italy. Inside the apartment a tastefully styled Master bedroom leads out to a large sunny balcony, while the comfortable open plan living room has all mod cons, flatscreen TV, DVD and CD player. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for creating those delicious Italian dishes with fresh local ingredients. The bathroom is spacious and bright with walk-in shower. The village of Lenno has a beautiful lake front and promenade with excellent amenities which include a small supermarket, shops, cafes and restaurants.Within walking distance are the famous gardens of the Villa Balbianello and the Villa Carlotta. Lenno's own ferry port means that the apartment is conveniently located to visit other attractive lakeside resorts such as Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio, Tremezzo and Cadenabbia. Exploring the Lake Como area couldn’t be easier.

Prices are for rental of the property per week in UK pounds. There will be a further £35 final cleaning charge, as the apartment is thoroughly cleaned between each client’s stay.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is perfect for a couple. Central heating is available throughout. Fan available and 2 sets of double 'French doors' to the balcony ensure plenty of air in summer.

The apartment is located on the 1st floor, for easy access the villa has a lift.
Outside
An added feature of the apartment is the extensive south facing and private sunny balcony, with attractive patio furniture and sun lounger, offering not only additional al fresco living space but the ideal location to start the day with a Prosecco – the typical tipple of the region! For those hiring a car, the apartment has its own private car parking space at the front of the villa.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is situated a couple of minutes walk from the lakeside, here there is a small secluded shingle beach. If you prefer, within a 10 minute easy walk, Lenno has its own lido with small man-made sandy beach - perfect for chilling out or improving your tan! For the more energetic boat hire is available for sightseeing, watersports or maybe just a spot of fishing. In the evening a stroll along the lake promenade offers the most beautiful panoramic views of the lake and mountains.
Golf
Golf courses available in Menaggio (George Clooney is a member!) and at Como town.
Travel
Nearest airports, 1 hour 15 minutes to Milan Malpensa or Linate airports, or 1 hour and 45 mins to Bergamo. Car hire is not essential, the apartment is on bus and ferry routes and the lake can be explored easily by the regular ferry or bus service from Como.

Our apartment’s location provides ample opportunity to explore all parts of the lake and mountains. Bellagio, the jewel in the crown of the entire Lake area where you can shop for designer wear, silk, art or leather is only a short ferry journey away. Como, with all its pretty promenades, cathedrals, busy shops and market days is only 30 minutes away by scenic drive.
Further details
Close to the apartment is the little ferry stop at Lenno, here the ferry will zig-zag up and down the lake, stopping at towns and villages on the way. You can even take the ferry for a day’s shopping or sightseeing visit to Como. The local bus stops nearby, it circles the lake and so will drop you off at any of the villages along the way. If you want to explore by car the apartment has its own private secure parking facility within the gated garden area.
Lenno and nearby villages offer some of the best cuisine of the region including local lake fish and pasta dishes, of course!
After your evening meal enjoy a romantic stroll along the lake promenade in Lenno, right on the waters edge.
For garden lovers four of the most famous and beautiful are located very close-by, Villa Balbianello is only a 15 minute walk away, while Villa Carlotta is just 5 minutes down the road by car and the gardens of Villa Meltzi and Monastir are only 20 minutes away by ferry.
There is simply so much to see and do in the area, it is steeped in history and culture. Particularly throughout the summer when there are numerous events, concerts, exhibitions - and not forgetting the fireworks displays! Or if your interests stretch eg to hill walking, photography, cookery or painting these are readily available throughout the lake area. If shopping is a must then Como is 30 minutes away and for something entirely different, a 45 minute drive will take you to Lugano, in Switzerland via some of the most spectacular mountain scenery – but don’t forget your passport!

A small deposit is required to secure the apartment, the remaining balance is then required 4 weeks prior to your holiday. As security a deposit of £200 is payable at the beginning of the let but this cheque will not be cashed and will be returned at the end of the let, less any deductions owed.
