The apartment is located in Lezzeno only 100m from the hotel Aurora and just 6 km from Bellagio, the most famous tourist village on Lake Como. It is well known in the world for its beautiful location, situated between the green of the mountains and the blue of the lake and surrounded by spacious blossoming gardens. Just at few steps from the house there are several small food shops in the village, which can cater for all the bare essentials including a pharmacy. The bus stop to Bellagio or Como town is just 50m from the apartment and it is also possible to catch a ferryboat from Lezzeno which can take you on trips throughout the lake. The apartment has a wonderful lakeside view and is just a short walk across the road from the stony lakeside shore. It has recently been tastefully restored.

Punta Balbianello:
With the magnificent Villa Balbianello reconstructed bv Cardinal Durini (1798). Past residence of the italian writer Silvio Pellico.
Isola Comacina:
Ancient fortress, ruins of walls and the basilica prior to 1169. Refuge of Vassal rebels and region of naval battles between the countries of the lake allied with Milan against Como. The island was razed to the ground by the people of Como with help of Barbarossa in 1169.
Tremezzo - Villa Carlotta:
The Villa Carlotta was built in 1690 by the Marquis Giorgio Clerici and took on its current name a century later when, in 1848, the Prussian Princess Carlotta received it as a wedding gift on her marriage to the Duke of Saxony-Meiningen.
Bellano:
Impressive gorge and also interesting the Parish Church of Saints Nazaro and Celso (1348) with frescoes (1530).
Varenna:
Ancient characteristic fishing village; castle of Vezio, last residence of the Longobard Queen Teodolinda.
Villa Monastero and Villa Cipressi shold be visited.
Varenna - Villa Monastero:
This ex Cistercian convent dates from 1200 and was transformed into a splendid residence in the 17th century. The park was enlarged at the end of the 19th century by the new owners, a wealthy family from Hamburg and was completed in 1904, when the Liberty style was in full swing.
Varenna Villa Cipressi is a series of buildings and gardens of great historical interest built principally between 1400 and 1800.
Ballagio, the wonderful village, Villa Melzi and Villa Serbelloni.
