Pathways and steps wind down to sea and to the little harbour with its local inhabitants and typical restaurants. Appeals to those who love nature, wish to sample genuine Italian cuisine, or for a romantic holiday, sunbathing. Ideally situated for excursions to famous sites (Capri, Naples, Ischia, Pompei, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello etc) or for walking holiday (map available of famous, walks in area) or for swimming. Boats can be hired at the harbour or you can be accompanied to visit the lovely bays in the area. Village of Massa Lubrense with banks, supermarkets and local shops is 2 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot uphill. The agriturismo also has alternative accommodation for a very small number of people on b and b basis.

Small air conditioned villa on two levels with sea views. Entrance with small sitting area and armchair which folds out into single bed. Small dining table and chairs. Kitchen corner with fridge, 4 ring hob, oven/grill, kettle, toaster, plates, cups, knives, forks. Pots and pans. Tastefully tiled bathroom with shower unit, bidet, sink and toilet. 9 marble steps from sitting room area lead to the bedroom. Enter bedroom through arch with antique hand painted iron double bed, built in wardrobe, television. |

Coast/Beach
2 minutes on foot - beach below us.
It is not sandy - there are pebbles and rocks.
Sea is part of a marine reserve- Punta della Campanella.
Sandy beach in next bay - 5 mins by car or you can go by boat.
The area has many other lovely beaches which can be reached by boat or by car and then on foot- Bay of Jeranto, Cala di Mitigliano, Marina del Cantone, Recommone.
Positano (30 min drive) has beaches and also Amalfi.

Naples (50km) 1hr and half drive
Rome 3 and half hours by car.

Distances
Town Massa Lubrense 2 mins by car or 15 mins on foot uphill.
Sorrento 15 mins by car. Then train to Pompei, Vesuvious, Herculaneum and Naples.
Capri - 1hr by boat from the harbour of Marina Lobra or from Sorrento 20 mins.
Positano 30 mins by car or by bus or boat.
Amalfi 1 hr by boat from Sorrento.
By car 1 and half hours.
Further details
Little town of Massa Lubrense has banks, supermarkets, butchers, fishmongers, bakeries, delicatessens etc. It is famous for lemons and olive groves.- harvesting of olives in October and making of limoncello (lemon liqueur) throughout the year. The area is also part of a Marina Reserve - the famous Punta della Campanella. Apart from the famous excursions, it is also renowned for its beautiful walks which pass through lovely hamlets and villages with stunning views of the coast, which also lead to lovely unspoilt bays e.g. Bay of Jeranto. Christmas is famous for exhibition of cribs - locally made - which adorn cloisters and churches followed by New Year with lovely fireworks displays.
