Notes on accommodation
The property is cool in summer due to high ceilings and window openings both sides. Also safe for young children as it has balconies and the main historic centre is pedestrianised.

Outside
There is a 20sqm patio which is pleasantly shaded in the afternoon. Perfect for evening dining, lighting, large table and seating for eight.
Coast/Beach
There is a bus stop 2 mins walking distance taking you to the beach (20 mins) and station (5 mins). There are frequent trains to Rome and Naples. Driving to beach is 10 mins, and parking in Sperlonga or beachside. Sperlonga is a spectacular beach used mainly by Romans. It has beach umbrellas, sun loungers, good restaurants and cafes.
Travel
Nearest airport is Rome. Ciampino ( Easyjet, Ryanair) or Fiumicino ( Alitalia, BA). You can drive to either in 1 hr 30 (traffic depending). Flights from other major British cities to Ciampino. Equidistant from Naples. Flights to Naples from Coventry.
Distances
It is not necessary to hire a car, as public transport to the beach and station; Naples and Rome are good. You may need a car for historical sites - Pompei, Versuvius.
Further details
There are plenty of local shops, and the supermarket is 2mins away. It sells local produce. There are excellent restaurants within 100m. Towels and linen are changed once a week. This is a beautiful historic area of southern Italy. You can day trip to Naples, Rome and the Ponza islands from Terracina. Please contact the Italian Tourist Office.
