Accommodation
Carpentiere
The entrance to this fine apartment is through a gate and across a private yard that also serves as a parking area. The spacious living room with open space kitchen area is nicely furnished. The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a comfortable walk-in closet.
The view from the large windows reveals secret corners concealed among the old buildings of the castle. In the yard you will be able to dine underneath the shade of a pergola.

Glicine Piccolo
Through a wooden gate you enter a small courtyard lined with vines that makes the entrance to this apartment. Like everywhere at Fonterutoli, the simple, yet functional and elegant furniture creates an intimate, homely atmosphere. The two bedrooms whose windows overlook the narrow castle lanes are furnished with excellent taste.
The apartment is also enjoyable when the weather gets cooler thanks to the large fireplace in the living room.

Glicine Grande
Glicine Grande, named after the flourishing glycine plant that covers its entrance passage, is a typical example of Tuscan house focusing on a large kitchen dominated by a huge fireplace.
Terracotta floors, ceilings with exposed beams and Tuscan "arte povera" furniture remind guests of past times.
There are three comfortable bedrooms furnished with "home" pieces, one of them featuring a small fireplace.

Limonaia
Up a few steps there is a small loggia covered with glycine. From there one enters "Limonaia", a large apartment furnished with precious family furniture.
The floors are in ancient terracotta, the exposed ceiling beams as well as the doors and windows are in wood. This home makes an ideal environment to savour Tuscan countryside life while living inside a village. In fact many windows overlook the main square - the centre of all events at Fonterutoli.
The four bedrooms are on either side of the large living room, and the kitchen is well equipped with every possible appliance.
