The Trulli is in the heart of Southern Italy on the borders of the Itria valley. The nearest town Castellana Grotte is famous for its Grotto/caves some 2 km long. there are many local attractions from a safari park to the capital of the land of the Trulli, Alberobello. The Adriatic coast is 8 miles drive during which you will pass over the Selva di Fasano with its fabulous panoramic views of the coastline. The Trulli accomodation is in a secluded position overlooking a valley, it is situated in 1500 metres of land. There is a patio at the front of the house and also at the back overlooking the pool with a terrace around the house a small BarBQ is at the side.
The site is tranquil, there are very few properties in the area the nearest being about 100 mtrs away. The walls of the house are more than a metre thick which protect from the fierce southern Italian sun, there are all mod cons gas hob, elictric oven, washing machine flat screen TV, CD player, dining area inside and out.

Notes on prices
We can give 5% discount on bookings for the summer of 2009 that are confirmed before 31st January 2009. There is a heating surcharge during the winter months. A security deposit maybe required. Easter week will be charged as per the rate for June ie £850 as this a particularly spectacular time in Italy.

Changeover day is flexible at the moment.

Coast/Beach
15 minutes drive to the Adriatic coast with many beaches most have facilities ie. bars, restaurants, deckchairs etc. A small payment maybe required 2 or 3 euros but the facilities are well worth it.
Travel
Bari airport 40 minutes drive about 35 miles. Brindisi airport 40 minutes drive about 50 miles. most of the drive is on the Adriatic Autostrada (motorway). Very easy access to the airports. Flights are by Ryanair from Stansted. There are also flights via Milan and Rome from Heathrow or Gatwick. Car hire is a necessity.

There are excellent restaurants all around, one just about in walking distance Villa Maria. Bancomats (cash machines) in Castellana and Alberobello.
