Country House San Felice, restored and completed in April 2007, nestles on the slopes of a serene valley, close to the ancient fortified village of Morro D'Alba, famed for its DOC red wine 'Lacrima di Morro D'Alba' and in the heart of the DOC Verdicchio region.There are stunning views in all directions and the garden provides areas to relax and enjoy the scenery. The house is tastefully and stylishly furnished and the luxurious bathrooms with walk-in showers are spacious. The long sandy beaches of Senigallia are just 15kms distance and the beautiful coves of the Conero National Park only 30 minutes away. The area has an abundance of places of natural, historical and cultural interest all within easy reach including the incredible Grotte di Frasassi, the largest underground caving system in Europe.

Morro - Spacious room with king size bed and en-suite bathroom. San Marcello - spacious independent double room with king size bed and en-suite bathroom. Belvedere - spacious room with extra size twin beds and private bathroom. All bathrooms are large with luxurious fittings and walk-in showers.

Notes on accommodation
All the rooms are centrally heated for cooler weather and fans are available in the hotter months. Linens and toiletries provided. Hairdryers and ironing facilities available. Snacks, lunch and dinner using fresh, local produce are available if required.
Outside
Lovely gardens all round the house with seating and dining areas providing stunning views of the countryside with hill top villages perched on the horizon. Breakfast is available under the pergola or in the garden during warm weather.
Coast/Beach

Travel
Ancona airport is only 20 minutes drive away. Ryanair flights from Stansted and Liverpool; Rimini 1 hour by car- Easyjet from Luton; Forli and Pescara both 90 minutes by car- served by Ryanair from Stansted; Bologna 2 hours BA from Gatwick. Car hire essential.
Distances
Morro D'Alba and San Marcello are both 1km distance and provide shops, banks, post offices, restaurants, bars and a weekly market. Senigallia 15km has a bustling shopping centre in the old quarter and there are many bars and restaurants along the promenade. Jesi 12km, an ancient walled town, has a lovely centre full of interesting buildings, shops, bars and restaurants.
Further details
There is a magnificent open air opera season in an amphitheatre 'L'Arena Sferisteria' in Macerata held at the end of July/August. There are concerts and festas throughout the year with each village organising a celebration. Urbino, the birthplace of Rafaele, is a delight and within a short distance. The Umbrian cities of Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi, and Cortona and Lago di Trasimeno, the largest inland lake in Italy are within a two hour drive. Le Marche boasts the largest underground caving system in Europe- Le Grotte di Frassasi. For those who are keen on walking, the mountains of the Sibillini provide stunning vistas. There is an abundance of ancient churches, abbeys and sanctuaries to visit and Loreto, one of the most important places of pilgrimage during the Middle Ages is easily accessible. 24-25 May- Vineyard Open Weekend- Wine and Food Tastings October - Truffle and Wine Festival in Morro D'Alba.
