Casa Rusticana Bed and Breakfast

Rentable accommodation consists of 2 large, airy rooms and a luxury bathroom. The first double bedroom consists of a king size bed, the second room can consist of twin beds, which can also be bunk beds or this can be replaced by a king size bed. An additional bed or cot can also be made available. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities, as well as hairdryer, towels, towelling robes and slippers. The bathroom as well as the normal facilities contains a deluxe shower area.

Notes on accommodation
Guests enjoy facilities comparable to that of a self-contained apartment, albeit without the use of a kitchen. There is the provision to prepare cold food/snacks with a fully equipped dresser and fridge, or to bring in hot food ie Pizzas. There is a large lounge and dining/breakfast room, with TV for watching DVDs, DVD player, a selection of dvds as well as various games, music, reading material etc.
There is a utility room equipped with a washing machine for our guests.
Breakfast consists of Cereals, Fruit, Toast, Pastries, Yoghurts, Free Range Eggs, Fruit juice, Tea and Fresh Coffee.
For stays of 3 nights or more we provide a light meal on arrival, which is included in the price.

Outside
Guests are welcome to enjoy the extensive grounds where children can play in safety. There is a large patio area with gazebo, chairs and tables, ideal for a casual drink and meals and an original pizza oven.

Coast/Beach
Adriatic coastal resort of Porto San Giorgio is 30 minutes drive where there are miles of unspoilt sandy beaches, great facilities and calm waters, ideal for children.

Skiing
25 minutes drive from the town of Sarnano and the ski resort of Sassotetto. The resort offers ideal facilities for families.

Travel
Nearest airports are Ancona (Ryanair) (1 hour drive)
Pescara (Ryanair) 1hour 30 minutes. Car hire essential.

SHOPS:
There is a small shop in the hilltop village of Falerone, which not only sells the essentials but also a good selection of local produce from fresh pasta to jars of pickled garlics or stuffed tomatoes excellently packaged as gifts. There is also a supermarket in Piane di Falerone called Eurospin (closed Thursday pm), providing very cost effective food shopping.

RESTAURANTS
The Loggette restaurant (closed Mondays) is only 2km from Casa Rusticana. It serves good local cuisine using local produce. Just outside of Sant Angelo in Pontano there is the restaurant Pippo and Gabriella again serving excellent Le Marche cuisine, but still with a different flavour to that of the Loggette, with a ‘to die for’ Tiramasu. The waiter here speaks good English. There are several other restaurants in the locality of the Farmhouse and listed in the La Vita handbook found in the B&B Lounge.
Within the centre of Falerone you will find the Bar Vittoria, ran by Miguel, a delightful experience serving anything from Tea, delicious hot chocolate with ceam to bottled guinness as well as the usual cappuccino. There are also light snacks available, many prepared by Miguel himself.

WALKING
The Sibillini Mountains provide many breathtaking and varied walks, to suit all tastes and abilities. We can provide you with detailed maps and additional guide book information for these walks. There are mountain refuges situated along these walks which provide light refreshments.

Casa Rusticana is ideally situated as a base for you to enjoy the expansive unspoilt and protected Sibillini Mountains.
