Guests staying at Podere Banditelle can truly immerse themselves in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, with its charming medieval villages, vineyards and olive groves.

Last minute - last week of August 10% discount.
If you book 2 weeks you get 5% discount and a welcome gift with a bottle of delicious olive oil, tuscany bread, homemade marmalade, and a bottle of chianti red wine.
Changeover day
Weekly bookings are from Saturday to Saturday, with arrivals on Saturday afternoons after 4pm and departures the next Saturday morning before 10am.

Large garden suitable for children, lovely rose an fruits garden and private small river. Outdoor activities include mountain biking, walking tours and horse riding. The house is also ideal as a starting point for visits to the prestigious wineries of Brunello di Montalcino and for shopping at various Italian stylists outlets. The impressive archaeological sites of Sovana and Chiusi are just a short drive from the house, and guided tours are available if pre-booked. Further, Mystic Tuscany and sacred and mysterious sites can be visited. Outdoor activities include mountain biking, walking tours, horse riding and golf at one of the nearby courses are highly recommended.

Outside
Large fenced garden with newly 250 planted olive groves. The private pool is about 10mts away from the house and is equipped with deck chairs and sun beds. It can be heated only by natural thermal water coming from under-hearth. It measures 10x5m and is 2.4m at the deep end and 1.2m at the shallow end. Further, there is a private river named “Rigo” just 100mts away from the house with a private sandy beach and fresh and clean water. Fishing and horse activities can be arranged.
Coast/Beach
40 mins drive you can reach the Capalbio and Argentario beaches (Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, Giglio and Giannutri islands). Also driving for 1.5 hours you can visit Elba island.
Special interest holidays
Excursions, walks and bicycle trails in the surroundings. Recommended sites to visits include Radicofani, passing through the ancient medieval hamlet of Ghino di Tacco, Rocca with its beautiful views and on the way back, the ancient Roman via Cassia, testimonial to the splendours of the historical Mille Miglia race.
Another beautiful spot is Pienza where one drives along the panoramic route passing Monte Cetona. On the way to Chianciano, the drive is along an enchanting road bordered by cypress trees where many Italian and foreign filmmakers have filmed. A splendid panoramic view is possible from the crest, which unwinds between the Val d'Orcia and the Val di Chiana. Stop in the delightful medieval city of Pienza, where you can taste the famous pecorino cheese with a glass of Brunello wine. Abbadia San Salvatore on the sienese side of the Amiata Mountain, this benedectine abbey that was at the height of its splendour between 10th and 12th century must be visited.
Travel
There are cheap Easyjet and Ryanair flights to Rome Ciampino or Ryanair to Pisa airport. Also standard airline flights to Rome Fiumicino airport. Podere Banditelle is a 1.5 hour drive from any of those airports. Train: high speed daily train from Rome to Chiusi station only 45 minutes. Daily local bus service is provided only 30 minutes.
Distances
The nearest town is Celle sul Rigo is a 1km drive from the house, and San Casciano Bagni is 4 km drive away. On both town you will find basic grocery shops, banks, post office, excellent restaurants and the best 2007 thermal spa resort called ‘Fonteverde Terme’. Nearby places of interest include Cetona 30 mins away, Pienza 40 mins away, Montalcino 1 hour away, Siena 1 hour 30 mins away, Florence 1 hour 30 mins away and Rome 1.30 mins away.
Further details
There is a possibility to arrange horse walking around the countryside just strarting from he house. Further at 500 mts there is a tennis court, soccer court and different walking itineraries starting just few meters from the house. Further, it can be arranged a cooking course.
Booking notes
Bookings may be made by email and these will be held 7 days pending receipt of deposit. A booking deposit of 50% is required at the time of the booking. The remainder of the payment is expected 8 weeks before arrival date. A damages deposit of £500 is also required at this time (this will be refunded if no breakages occur).
