Notes on prices
For bookings from September to December there will be a separate charge made for central heating and the supply of logs. Please discuss these charges with the owner. 30% deposit required at time of booking. £100 deposit required against breakages and damage. Payments to be made in UK sterling cheques, bank orders or by cheque in Euros.
Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. Vacate by 10.00am. Access at 4.00pm.

The house is not wheelchair suitable and is on 2 main levels.

Coast/Beach
Lake Trasimeno is 30 minutes away with sand and beach type facilities. The coast at Rimini/Fano is about one and half hours' drive away.
Golf
There is a beautiful golf course a few miles away where I believe it is possible to play.
Travel
A car is essential. Although close to Umbertide (4 km away), we are in the countryside with no local transport available.
Airports: Perugia-30 minutes. Ancona-2 hours. Bologna-2 hours. Rome- 2 hours - all approx.
Distances
Umbertide: 5 minutes by car (superb supermarket etc)
Perugia, Assisi, Cortona, Citta di Castello, Lake Trasimeno: all close by and easy to drive to.
Florence, Bologna 90 miles. Rome 125 miles.
Further details
Some superb restaurants in the area. Umbertide -the local town - offers excellent supermarket, weekly market on Wednesday, banks, pizzerias, post office, internet cafes. Good rail links mean that towns like Florence, Bologna and Rome can be easily visited in a day. Road links to these major cities are also excellent.
