The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful coastal resorts of the famous Costa Smeralda, all within easy reach (15-45 mins drive), and has several breathtaking beaches nearby, the nearest just a 10 minutes walk away. The main town of Olbia (10 minutes drive) offers a variety of shops, restaurants, bars and street markets. This beautiful apartment is 15 minutes drive from Olbia airport or approximately 1 1/4 hours from Alghero. Car hire is essential, private car parking available.

Coast/Beach
The famous Costa Smeralda resorts are only a short drive away. Savour a balmy evening in Porto Cervo admiring the impressive array of yachts, or for the ladies, a stroll into the picturesque town itself full of designer shops. Breathtaking drive along the coast, with spectacular panorama and lots of photographic opportunities on the way. Most beaches have white sand and crystal clear waters. Water-sports are available on most beaches, the nearest of which is just 10 mins away.
Golf
For keen golfers there is the world famous Pevero Golf Club, again a short drive away in Costa Smeralda. Early bookings required.
Special interest holidays
Sardinia is not just about sand and sea of course. A drive inland will give you a different flavour of this beautiful island, with rugged mountainous scenery, picturesque villages and historic points of interest (the famous Nuraghi are worth a visit). Cruises around the island to the Maddalena archipelago and Corsica are not to be missed!
Travel
Your accommodation is a 15 minute drive from Olbia airport. Alghero airport is approximately 1 1/4 hours away. Car hire is essential. Flights available from most UK regional airports, Bristol being the latest addition. Should you wish to combine your holiday with a mainland Italy visit, there are ferries arriving in Olbia from the major Italian coastal cities (Rome, Genoa, Leghorn) daily, or domestic flights with Meridiana.
Distances
Olbia main town 10-15 mins. Porto Rotondo 15 mins. Porto Cervo 30 mins. By air from London approx 2 hours, Rome 30 mins, Milan 50 mins (into Olbia airport).

There is a small but busy corner shop, ideal for daily groceries at the end of the road. Additional small shop/newsagent is 2 mins further away. Start your day the Italian way with a cappuccino at the nearby bar!
Most beaches have their own bars and restaurants (open main season). Olbia offers a variety of shops and large supermarkets, with all major amenities. Details available on arrival.
Booking notes
The apartment is generally booked for full weeks (Sat-Sat). Shorter breaks may be available. Bookings of 3 weeks or more 10% discount in high-season (Apr-Sept) 15% discount in low-season (Oct-Mar). Non-refundable deposit of 50% payable at time of booking. Balance due 1 month before departure. Breakage deposit of £200 required, refunded once apartment checked.
