Relax in this very spacious holiday apartment on the ground floor of the owner's 100 year old house. The apartment features a large secluded private garden ideal for alfresco dining day or night. French windows lead directly into it inviting outdoor living any time of day or night. The interior living room boasts high ceilings and large open spaces. The galleried bedroom has built-in wardrobes and computer(broadband). Large TV/English DVDs. Large selection of books. The apartment is literally 3 mins on foot from the historic centre and all its many excellent/affordable restaurants, shops and bars. A beautiful Olympic swimming pool set in pine woods is 5 mins walk - ideal for kids. Sansepolcro is a beautiful renaissance town. You'll find yourself entranced by the beauty that pervades the medieval streets. It's ideally placed for marvellous day trips to wonderful towns nearby (see daytrips on our website). Easy/safe parking just outside house. Perugia 40mins.Cheap heating in winter.

Midweek arrivals possible this winter.
Ryanair to Perugia (40 mins), Bologna (2hrs), Pisa (2hrs), Rimini 1hr).
Low heating charge 40 euros per week. Very good discount for long Winter lets. Cleaning charge of 30 euros.
Rome (Ryanair) 2 hour 30 mins drive, or 1 hour 10 min, Eurostar.
Changeover day
Usually from Sat to Sat, but we are very flexible subject to availability (flights with ryanair are usually much cheaper midweek). Flights to Perugia are on Wed, Fri, Sunday so we may be able to do Sunday to Sunday

Notes on accommodation
The flat is very large (about 100 sqm) with high ceilings and has it's own private garden. High ceilings (4 metres) make the living area very fresh even on the hottest days. Also suitable for couples with up to two children who can sleep in the huge living room (extra beds provided). Heating in the winter to be paid apart. We have installed a new pellet heater which heats the apartment at cost of about 4 euros a day. Great winter rates now!

The beautiful Adriatic coast is only 1hr 15 mins away from Sansepolcro (all motorway). Best places are Rimini, Cervia, Milano Marittima, Riccione.

Further details
The center of Sansepolcro is full of shops and restaurants.
There are 4 big supermarkets and 7 banks, numerous bars, and enoteche (wine bars). There is a lively antiques market on Friday evenings in the summer. Not to miss is the local museum with paintings of various Renaissance Italian artists including Piero della Francesca who was born in Sansepolcro.
The second Sunday of September see the Palio della Balestra a wonderful medieval crossbow competition with sumptuous parades and festa during the days preceding and following the Palio - not to be missed.
The town of Anghiari (voted one of the most beautiful hill top towns in Italy) is 5 mins drive away. The nearby city of Arezzo hosts a magnificent Antiques Market on the first Sunday of the month. Various festivals and concerts take place during the summer. There is also a beautiful public pool with slides and park 10 mins walk away - please ask for photos. Much loved by previous guests (ask for emails).
The owners live above the flat and are happy to give advice on the area (Louise is Anglo-Italian). Pick up service from the airport possible - price to be agreed before arrival.

Hi Louise and Franco I wanted to thank you again very much for everything, starting with the welcome glass of wine, pasta in the fridge etc. We really loved your place straight away as it really felt like coming home when we arrived and after our long journey the place was very relaxing.
