This charming and very romantic apartment is ideal for couples and families. It has 2 floors with a staircase that leads you to the loft with its original wooden beams and beautiful views of the surrounding hills. It is very light and breezy and has a little fire place situated next to the open plan kitchen, on the lower floor. It has been recently renovated and has all the modern amenities without spoiling the original character. It is situated in the main 'centro storica' of Fondi, in a very quiet street, 5 mins from the main supermaket and just around the corner from the local bakery.

Notes on accommodation
This holiday house is very suitable for young families, with children over the ages of about eight or nine. I do not advise this property for very young children, as there are a lot of stairs and the windows in the loft are very low. The apartment is extremely light and breezy and the views from the little terrace are breathtaking.

Outside
The terrace is small and extremely private and very good for sunbathing, or for eating under the stars in the evening and for having drinks in the afternoon.
Coast/Beach
Very near to Sperlonga, one of the most beautiful coastal towns, the beaches are sandy and the sea is renouned for being the cleanest coastline in Italy.
Travel
There is a train that leaves Fondi station for Rome and Naples every hour, it takes 1 hour and 15 mins in both directions.There is a local bus that leaves every hour for the beautiful beaches such as Sperlonga and Santa Annastasia, I do advice the hiring of a car to exploor the little surrounding towns in the hills and the wonderful coastline that is so near.

Further details
The apartment is very near a large Supermarket Maxi Sidis, and is very near to the local shops in the main street that leads you to the castle square with lots of caffes and places to drink and watch the local people parade and lots of summer concerts and activities arranged for the summer.

A quick note to say how much we enjoyed our stay last week. The apartment was perfect and Fondi is a delight. We would love to come again next year if it is still available.
