The Fienile Kitchen

San Lorenzo is a beautiful 17th century farmhouse surrounded by 10 hectares of wheat and olive grove, that overlooks Monterchi, home of Piero della Francesca’s fresco “Madonna del Parto”. Located in a spectacular position on a Tuscan hill, looking across to the Apennines of Umbria and The Marches, it is a short drive away from Arezzo, Florence, Assisi, Perugia, Cortona, Siena and Lake Trasimeno. The Farmhouse seems like a small country hamlet where the manor dominates the Tabaccaia (old tobacco drying tower), the Fienile (hay barn), and the Rimessa. Lovely restored, respecting both the original architecture and the benefits of modern comforts, San Lorenzo can offer accommodation for up to 14-20 people in 2 self-catering apartments or in 2/3 or 4 bedded rooms, overlooking a well-kept garden with shady gazebo. Its large (14m x 6m) swimming pool, on a natural terrace surrounded by green hills, has magnificent 360° views. We can rent the whole complex or single apartments or rooms.
