Casa Dell'Arco (4 Bedrooms, Sleeps 8)

Is is named after the large stone arch in the living room. The floors are paved in "cotto", roofs with tiles and beams. Finely restructured by architect Paule Favre and accurately furnished with modern and antique furniture. Private garden, shady terrace with outdoor table to eat "al fresco". Ground floor: A large sitting room with fireplace, a large kitchen, an impressive dining room excavated in the rock, a small anteroom with a guests' bathroom, a storeroom. First floor: a large master bedroom with fireplace and ensuite bathroom (shower), another master bedroom, a room with two beds and another bathroom (bath tub). On the same floor there is a room with two beds with a separate entrance, a bathroom and a small kitchen. The laundry is located in a separate premise. Dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer, iron, barbecue.

Casa Della Roccia (3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6)

Small and cosy (150 sqm), Casa della Roccia has been obtained from an old stone sheepfold. It is named after the rock on which the house was built, and can be seen in the kitchen and in a bathroom. Finely restructured by architect Paule Favre and accurately furnished, with modern and antique furniture. Private garden, shady terrace with outdoor table to eat "al fresco". Ground floor: large kitchen, sitting room with fireplace, bathroom (shower) and a bedroom with two beds with a separate entrance. First floor: a master bedroom, another bedroom with two beds and another bathroom (bath tub). Fans in these two bedrooms. The laundry is located in a separate premise. Casa Del Cipresso (3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6)

Obtained from the old stables of the hamlet, Casa del Cipresso has been finely restructured by architect Paule Favre. It has a vast private garden, a large fresh and airy terrace with a tile roofing, where it is possible to eat "al fresco". On the same floor, a large kitchen-living room with a fireplace, a master bedroom with its bathroom (bath tub), two double rooms, another bathroom (shower). Accurately furnished mainly with antique furniture. Laundry room in a separate premise. Dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer, iron, barbecue.

Notes on accommodation
Guardians living at place. First meal on arrival. Cleaning and changing linens weekly. Possibility of extra cleaning and cooking. Not suitable for small children because of the presence of many stairs. Large playroom with tennis table. Heating. Animals in the farm: two friendly sheep dogs, three friendly cats, two horses, chicken and hens. Children can collect themselves eggs for breakfast. Large play room.

A large garden which mantain the original rural character, designed by the architect Sofia Varoli Piazza. A rosary with 80 old varieties. A large kitchen garden and old varieties of fruit trees. Barbecue. Outdoor tables. Deckchairs and hammocks. The shared pool is plunged in the quiet of the Villa Paradiso, the main buiding of the estate. (10 min. on foot). 13x6 meters. At the pool: sun beds, dressing room and toilet.
Please Note: The swimming pool is not available on Saturdays for maintenance reasons.

Guest comments
We have stayed twice in Il Pianciano and will absolutely be returning for a 3rd and hopefully 4th visit. With its beautiful views in all directions you get a great feeling of being in the countryside yet only a few minutes from the main motorway and all the main attractions of the area it really is the best of both worlds, and will suit those who want to get away from it all as well as those who want to tour around.
The houses are rustic and very charming and equipped with everything you need including a hammock for lazing around with a good book and a glass of wine.The hosts could not be more welcoming and some one is always there to help or answer any questions. Very friendly but never intrusive.
There are two wonderful restaurants within a 2 minute drive from the house. Neither are expensive and lovely atmospheres in both.We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend it to any one looking for somewhere special to stay in Italy.
