The country house

This farmhouse is a very quiet place to find complete relaxation. It is located in a green area: a Natural Park Reserve with an excellent panorama. The country estate extends on 3 Regions: Tuscany, Latium and Umbria very close to San Casciano dei Bagni Village, Bolsena Lake, Orvieto town and 30 minutes to the seaside. Thanks to its strategic position our guests can reach easily the most fascinating Art Cities of Central Italy such as: Siena, Assisi, Perugia, Rome, Florence, Viterbo, Grosseto, Montalcino, Pienza, Cortona. This farmhouse has obtained the Quality Certification and it is now one of the 7 best Farmhouses of Central Italy. It offers spacious and elegant apartments from 2 to 8 sleeps. All the apartments have fully-equipped kitchens, cool rooms and outdoor space with: tables and chairs reserved for the occupants. Cot. private swimming pool (22m x 8m) for the warm days of Summer. Restaurant service for at least 8-10 people for lunch dinner and dinner.

Notes on prices
General Conditions: Air conditioning: you'll pay on consumption. It is only in Mimosa apartment: euro 15-20 per day. The final cleaning is euro 12 per person. The weekly compulsory cleaning on Saturday in the morning: euro 12 per person. The laundry room: To be paid on consumption.
The heating system: is autonomous for each apartment and to be paid on consumption. June/September: 2 sleeps euro 650 per week; July: euro 700 per week.

Changeover day
All rentals are on a weekly basis and, apart from Easter, Low Season, Christmas and weekends, start and end on Saturday. You may enter the premises between 4.00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m.

Accommodation

 

 

Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning (autonomous) is only in Mimosa apartment (4-6 sleeps): so to be paid on consumption (about 15 euro/£10 per day). People don't need air-conditioning, because in this place there are fresh rooms and wind.
All properties are rented out clean, tidy and bedlinen is provided. The final cleaning: is euro 12 per person. The weekly compulsory cleaning of the apartment and the complete change of linen is euro 12 each person 1 time in the week (on Friday in the morning or on Saturday in the morning).
The heating system: is autonomous for each each apartment so to be paid on consumption.

Accessibility
Giglio apartment is also predisposed to welcome disabled guests.

Outside
The country house also offers to its clients many gardens and a wonderful swimming pool of 22 meters by 8 meters, from which, during a relaxing bath, you can appreciate the wonderful view of the hills envied by all.
There are also a large children’s pool of 4 meters by 4 meters (90 cm deep) and a comfortable Hydro-massage pool of 4 meters by 4 maters (1 meter deep). The superb large panoramic swimming pool is situated in the extensive and beautiful garden area. The large garden that surrounds the pool is furnished with: many sun umbrellas, deck chairs, sun-loungers and tables. The pool is served by a comfortable shower located next the pool.
Sant'Angelo also offers: horses, private equipped gardens, Picnic areas, Mini soccer, Bikes, table tennis, Archery, Spa Fonteverde Thermal Baths by arrangement in San Casciano dei Bagni (15% – 10% discount), close restaurants specialising in local cuisine by arrangements, Genuine products: wines, cereals, vegetable crops, eggs, marmelade.

Coast/Beach
The nearest seaside resort is Montalto di Castro and Tarquinia with sandy beaches 30 -40 minutes away.
The nearest lake is Bolsena only to 10 minutes by car.

Special interest holidays
The country house is ideally positioned and can give only a wonderful unforgettable holiday. The breathtaking scenery and close proximity to: Rome, Florence, Siena, Perugia and Assisi make Sant’Angelo a true gem.
Here the tourist has been the possibility to do many different sports. Thanks to the proximity to the Lake Bolsena any sort of water sport is possible, from water skiing to sailing to snorkelling. At the same time the green countryside offers a perfect location for horse riding and mountainbiking. For our guests we recommend: This territory (TUSCIA), because is rich in history; in fact the surrounding area is full of Etruscan and medieval monuments. The most fascinating cities of central Italy: Florence, Siena, Orvieto, Perugia, Rome and Viterbo can be easy reached. Orvieto for its wine and Cathedral; Tarquinia and Vulci for the Etruscan Necropolis and Museums; Saturnia, Viterbo and San Casciano dei Bagni for the Thermal Spas;

Travel
The closest airports are: Fiumicino airport in Rome (1 hour and 30 minutes by car) or Ciampino airport in Rome (1 hour and 30 minutes by car) or Pisa airport (2 hour and 30 minutes by car).
Cheap flights (low cost) available from London to Rome in Ciampino airport or in Pisa airport. These are the companies: Alitalia, Iberia, Ryanair, Myair, EasyJet, Lfthansa, Vueling, Virgin, Volare web.

Sant’Angelo country estate is located on the border between the Grand Duchy of Tuscany and the Vatican State, one of the most beautiful regions of central Italy where Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio meet. Our property extends on 3 Regions: Latium, Tuscany and Umbria. We are to 10 minutes from Bolsena Lake, to 20 minutes from Orvieto.

110/130km from Airports: Ciampino and Fiumicino

Further details
The closest Villages are San Casciano dei Bagni and Acquapendente (just 3 Km). It is the last of the Province of Viterbo. Here you can find: many Shops, Restaurants, Bars, Hospital, Markets Super, Pharmacies, Cinema, Theatre, etc…
In Orvieto there is a railway station and so our guests can travel cheaply and easily into Rome in about 1 hour without having to face the parking problem in the Capital.

Booking notes
Payments: Upon confirmation you are requested to pay an advance of 40% of the total amount. Payments are made by a Money Transfer. The remainder (60%) is paid at least 40 days before the starting date of your stay with another Money Transfer.
Deposit: A fully-returnable deposit is requested at the time of arrival: euro 300 in cash for each apartment. This is to cover any damages to the property.
Number of occupants must be communicated at booking.
