Travel
Formello is connected to Rome, its airports and surrounding region by a modern road system, as well as by public transport. There are regular buses that pass 500 m from the villa and a train service from La Storta (10 minutes away) that links up to Rome’s underground/subway system. However, for maximum convenience and accessibility to all the region has to offer, including Rome’s vibrant night life, we recommend that you have a car.

Distances
45 minutes from the Papal city of Viterbo, with its amazingly therapeutic mud and hot water, mineral baths. Northwards, the picturesque towns of Umbria are an hour away; Tuscany is an 1 1⁄2 hours away. To the South, Naples, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast and Capri are 2 1⁄2 hours away.
