The apartment is ideally situated to enjoy all the treasures of Lake Como. We have designed the apartment placing the empahasis on style, comfort and luxury. Whether you wish to dine alfresco from the large balcony whilst taking in the glorious lake views, rustle up a feast from the fully fitted and kitchen, listen to your favourite cd whilst relaxing on the plush leather sofa or take a stroll to the secluded shingle beach in front of the apartment you can't but help induldging in a little dolca vita! The boat stop is just 2 minutes walk from the apartment accessing all parts of the lake. The apartment is perfectly positioned to reach Villa Balbianello (as featured in the recent James Bond film, Casino Royale, which was filmed here in Lenno,2006). Lido di Lenno, the only man made sandy beach in Lake Como is nearby as well as an array of small bars and restaurants for lovers of Italian food and wine.The apartment included secure gated parking however car hire is not essential.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Saturday to Saturday bookings only for April to October.
Discounts for long term winter lets. £70 final cleaning and heating charge per stay.The apartment is meticously cleaned between each guests stay. 350 euros safety deposit payable on arrival refunded on departure.

The apartment is kept spotlessly clean throughout.
All linen is freshly laundered between the stay of every guest. |
Notes on accommodation
The apartment is siutated with windows shutters for each room. Air conditioning is not necessary.
We welcome all well behaved children.
Accessibility
A lift is provided to reach the apartment hence there is no need to use the staircase. The entrance to the building & apartment are both on the flat.
Outside
The balcony which faces the lake houses wrought iron patio furniture for 4 diners. The property benefits from it's idyllic lake position with a secluded shingle beach accessible just 2 minutes from the apartment (see picture).
Coast/Beach
As well as the secluded shingle beach, just 2 minutes from the apartment, a man made sandy beach is situated just 10 minutes walk from the apartment. Lido di lenno is the perfect position to enjoy glorious lake views whilst waiters bring you your favourite drink beneath tented marquees as you lay on the beach. This beach, like the restaurants in Italy, is extremely child friendly.
Golf
A golf course is available 15-20 minutes drive from the apartment. Please enquire for details.
Skiing
Ski-ing is available in nearby Lanzo (45 minutes drive) with all dining, changing & hire facilities available
Special interest holidays
Lenno is home to some of the most picturesque scenery in Italy, never mind Lake Como (featured recently on the Holiday programme, BBC 1, November 2006). Artists have visited Lake Como in their droves over many years.

Travel
The apartment is just over 1 hour from Malpensa & Linate Airports in Milan. Please enquire for flight operators and is approximately 1 and a 1/2 hours from Bergamo Airport. Fly with BA, Easyjet, Fly BMI or Ryanair. Car hire is not essential as there is a waterstop for the boat and coach stop close to the apartment however we do recommend car hire to help you enjoy all of the beautiful places you can visit in and around Lake Como.
Distances
2 minutes walk to the secluded shingle beach in front of the apartment, the famous lido di lenno beach is only 10 minutes walk from here you can catch the waterboat (5 minutes) to Villa Balbianello, probably the most romantic scenery in Lake Como as featured in the recent James Bond 007 film, Casino Royale. The water ferry stop is just 2 minutes walk from the apartment for access to all parts of the lake. Please ask for preferred day trips in order to get the most from your stay.
Further details
The village is just 1 minute drive for local bars and restuarants. We will be happy to recommend our favourite diners, just ask!
The nearest supermarket can also be found here in the village.
The local bank is 5 minutes drive in Sala Comacina. Boat hire can be arranged on request. Bank, supermarket, bakery, pizzeria, mini market all within easy reach. Lift to the apartment means the accommodation is suitable for elderly and infirm guests.

Please note £250 non refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.
The balance is payable 12 weeks before departure after which no refunds apply. £70 final cleaning & heating charge per stay. Apartment available for key collection 2pm to 6pm on arrival or out of hours on request. Please note prices may fluctuate due to availability and market conditions.
