Our 18th Century Townhouse located in the quiet street of Vincenzo Bellini, just a few minutes walk away from Ostuni's main square Piazza Liberta and the Old Quarter La Terra. With an incredible selection of restuarants, cafes, bars and shops to choose from. The Townhouse is ideally placed to explore Ostuni and all that the surrounding region has to offer. 'Blue Flag' beaches are only a short drive away, or visit one of the many other interesting towns, castles or stunning churches that adorn the landscape. Ostuni offers a warm and friendly welcome that will soon get you into the Mediterranean pace of life.

| Kitchen: | The lovely fitted kitchen has a gas hob, toaster, kettle and espresso coffee maker together with all necessary crockery, glassware and utensils. |
| Utility Room: | Stone stairs leading up from the lounge bring you to a fully equipped laundry area, comprising of a washing machine, iron and ironing board and belfast sink. |
| Living Rooms: | The main door leading up to the lounge/dining room which has a magnificent exposed stone 'Cathedral' ceiling, and is well furnished with double sofa bed, leather armchairs, TV/DVD/CD music system, dining table for six, air conditioning and heating unit. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All towels and linen are provided, cleaned and changed each week. Beach towels provided. Welcome food pack upon request payable locally. Our lovely friend Pauline is available to assist and give any information you may require. |
Notes on accommodation
We do not consider the house suitable for people with walking difficulties or very small children because of the stone stairs. The property is naturally cool during the summer months. Air conditioning/heating unit available should you require.

Outside
The Roof Terrace is a good size for eating 'al fresco' or sunbathing. There is outdoor seating and table available for guests use. The street is very quiet with friendly Italian neighbours all around. Drying facilities are on the roof terrace.
Coast/Beach
'Blue Flag' beaches are within a 15 minute drive from Ostuni, There are sandy stretches and rocky coves. The vast majority are free, also 'paid for' areas with sun beds and umbrellas for hire. Torre Guaceto is a renowed WWF nature reserve, well worth a visit. Scuba Diving is available at Torre Canne with basic and advanced courses, all scuba diving equipment available to hire on site.
Golf
San Domenica golf course is next to the town of Savelletri di Fasano and is approximately 20 minutes drive from Ostuni. Its south boundary is as close to the sea as the road and rocky coast line will allow. A challenging 18 hole 72 par course with superb views of the Adriatic. Together with strategic bunkering, definitive fairway shaping and a clever green design, a thought provoking golf test has been set. Open all year.
Travel
Nearest airport is Brindisi about 25 minutes drive and also Bari which is about 55 minutes drive away from Ostuni. Ryanair flies to both these places with British Airways flying to Bari from Gatwick.
Hertz car hire is very competitive. Free parking in the streets close to the town house. Also pay and display close by.

Further details
The South of Italy is renown for its wonderful food and there is a vast choice of restaurants in Ostuni with a varied and glorious menu on offer. Local supermarkets and other shops offer fresh vegetables, fruit and fish. Casa Formaggio just down the road, with a wonderful range of cheeses. Chemists and banks are all within easy walking distance. A folder of information is left in the house for guests use.
Booking notes
A deposit of 20% of the total cost is required to confirm your reservation. Balance is required 42 days prior to arrival. A security deposit of £100 is requested to cover serious damage or breakages, this will be refunded after inspection of the house and the keys returned.
