A substantial restored stone farmhouse set in half an acre of terraced gardens with swimming pool. One apartment sleeps four to eight people in two to four bedrooms with two kitchens and bathrooms and substantial living accommodation. The other apartment sleeps four to six people in two to three bedrooms with a shower room and an en suite bathroom. Both apartments have large private south facing terraces with barbecue facilities.

There is an extension to this apartment which provides a further two bedrooms (one twin/double and one double), another bathroom, and a kithenette/lounge/dining area). It has a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine facilities.

This apartment has a large vaulted open plan lounge.

It can be extended by taking the adjacent Studio which is a large bedroom (double or twin) with en suite bathroom. It has a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, fridge freezer, and washing machine facilities.

This is a combination of the two apartments with in total seven bedrooms (three double, three twin/double, and one twin).
Two fully equipped kitchens and a kitchenette.
Two lounge/dining areas.
Three bathrooms and a shower room.

The kitchens are fully equipped with a total of three gas cookers, two fridge freezers, two fridges, a dishwasher, and washine machine facilities.
It is ideal either for one large party or two/three families holidaying together but wanting some privacy.

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartments have hot water, and central heating throughout is available in the colder months for a small extra charge. The two main terraces have barbecue facilities. The property is on a hill side and quite steep in places and may not be suitable for the very young and the infirm.

Outside
The property is set in half an acre of terraced grounds. There is a private swimming pool on its own south facing terrace with lovely views of the surrounding hills. There is a full range of sun loungers, umbrellas, outside chairs and tables.

Travel
The nearest airports are at Ancona and Bologna Forli, both serviced by Ryanair from Stansted and both about 0ne and a half to two hours drive; or Rome and Pisa, both just over two hours drive away. A hire car is essential.

Distances
The property is five kilometres along a white road (perfectly driveable) to the main road and then five kilometres to Umbertide (about fifteen minutes altogether) where a full range of shops (and a wonderful market on Wednesday mornings) is available. The nearest large town is Perugia, about forty minutes drive. Assisi, Lake Trasimene, Gubbio, and Cortona are all within a fifty to sixty minute drive.

Details of all the local places of interest, shops, restaurants etc are available at the property. The apartments are serviced by an English couple who occupy a separate part of the property and will be available to answer any queries and deal with any problems which arise.

Booking notes
Bookings can be made by e-mail or telephone. A ten per cent deposit is requested on booking with the balance paid not less than six weeks before departure. Keys are collected from and returned to the on site caretakers.
