Borgo Sicelle was originally a small farm, typical of the Chianti region. It is situated on a summit which overlooks the valley of the Pesa river and the surrounding hills. We are in the heart of Chianti, 3 kms from S.Donato in Poggio (the nearest village where there are essential shops, restaurants, pizzeria), 10 kms from Castellina in Chianti, 18 kms from Greve in Chianti, 20 kms from Radda in Chianti and 6 kms from the Florence-Siena motorway (no tolls). Its easy to make excursions to Florence (27 kms), Siena (35 kms), S.Gimignano (25 kms),Volterra (50 kms), Pisa (90 kms),Arezzo (100 kms), Lucca (110 kms). There are a selection of apartments (2-6 persons), in typical Tuscan style, the majority of which with wood-beamed cellings and floors in cotto. There is also a shared swimming pool and a sunny terrace with a wonderful view. Check-in and check-out day is optional (we dont request accommodation Saturday/Saturday).
