Inside Saisi’s property there are two beautiful holiday houses: Casa Matilde and Casa Lara. The property, situated on a hill just 300 meters from the village of Molazzana (430 o.s.s.) offers splendid views of the surrounding countryside and the woody mountains of the Apuan Alps and the Tuscan –Appennino. From here, in a short time, you can reach historical cities such as Lucca and Pisa, visit the famous Grotta del Vento or make excursions to the most beautiful peaks of the Apuan Alps. The two houses are well furnished and have independent entrances. Each house has its own garden where you can enjoy your meals or relax in the green countryside. From the pool (3 per 7 meters) you can admire a fantastic Garfagnana's scenery. Both of them have its own heating system. Casa Matilde has also a typical fireplace. In winter the use of gas and the wood for the fire place must be paid. The farm is completely enclosed and can be reached trough a private not asphalted road (200ms).

Casa Matilde (90 sqm): in the hall of the house on the right there is a corridor leading to the three bedrooms: the single bedroom with very large windows, the double pink bedroom and the other single room. At the end of the corridor there is a small bathroom with a shower, a W.C. and a washbasin. On the left side of the corridor a stair leads to the first floor where there is a very nice sitting-dining room. Thanks to the large windows it’s possible to admire the whole valley. In the sitting room there is a big fireplace, a comfortable sofa and a large table for your meals. A door leads to a small but well equipped kitchen (a fridge, a dishwasher, an oven and a stove). Another door, on the opposite side leads to a small balcony.

Casa Lara is the second house you find in the farm. On the ground floor the hall leads to a sitting room with a large table with chairs, a comfortable sofa and TV Sat. A small step on the left leads to a nice kitchen corner equipped with fridge, a gas stove and a microwaves oven. A small bathroom with w.c., shower and wash basin is on the same floor. Upstairs there are two bedrooms: a double bedroom and a smaller one with a bunk bed. There is also a small balcony with a wonderful view on the countryside. The garden is well furnished with a table and chairs under the private portico and a BBQ. In common with Casa Matilde there is the oven to be used with wood, in the garden. This house is ideal for a couple with two children.

 

Notes on accommodation
Casa Matilde and Casa Lara are perfect for families with children.

Outside
Outside Casa Matilde but next to it there is a small dependency made of wood with independent entrance from a nice portico. The dependency is very used in the summer because you can cook inside, or outside using the oven and have dinners in the open air in the hot summer evenings. Inside the dependency there is also a washing machine at disposal of the guest.

Driving distance to beach is around 1 hr 15 minutes.

Activities in the vicinity: mountain biking, equitation, forest, municipal swimming pool, fishing, hiking, mountain climbing.

Travel
Nearest airport is Pisa approx 1 hour drive away. This gives you the choice of flying from locations throughout the UK and also allows you to take advantage of the many low cost airlines that now fly to the region.
Although there is train service to Barga-Gallicano (about 10 km from the property) we would suggest that a car is essential.
