Notes on prices
The price don't include the heating in winter: 3 euro a day in Papavero and in Ginestra, 5 euro a day in Spiga.
Changeover day
Arrivals must be between 4.00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., but we acept also late arrivals. Rooms must be left at least at 09:30 a.m. Weekly stays go from Saturday to Saturday. In low season is possible stay from every day of the week (at least 3 nights).

Notes on accommodation
Each apartment has satellite TV, a kitchen equipped with fridge with freezer, oven and cooker. Wi-Fi access. It's a very suitable place for the children.

Apartment Ginestra is adapted for wheelchairs users.
Outside
Agriturismo La Fonte is surrounded by 5 hectares of country with a little wood and a nice little lake. Outside there is a swimming pool (6x 12 mt) with hydromassage system on one of the corner and there is a big olive grove all around. The swimming pool is shared. There is also a barbeque-area where you can eat. The parking-area is covered.

The cost is 45 minutes by car (Cecina, Bibbona or Tirrenia)
Golf
There's a golf course in Castelfalfi, about 8 Km from the farmhouse.

The nearest airport is the international airport "Galileo Galilei" in Pisa. It's 45 minutes by car.
Distances
Agriturismo La Fonte is situated in the heart of Tuscany hills, between Volterra (10 minutes by car), famous Etruscan and medieval city, and San Gimignano (20 mins by car), famous all over the world for its characteristic towers. You can easly visit the most important towns of Florence (60 mins by car), Siena (60 minus by car), Pisa (45 mins by car), Lucca (60 minutes by car). The sea is at just 45 mins by car and a riding track is at just 5 mins.
Further details
Volterra's area is very interesting for it's etruscan, roman and medieval history. There are museums, art galleries, typical shops, and typical restaurants where traditional tuscan meals are cooked.San Gimignano is a medioeval bourg , famous in all the world, for its high medioeval towers.

We enjoyed a fantastic week at La Fonte in Papavero in August 2008. The accommodation is clean and well equipped, the pool was large and very welcome in the Tuscan heat and the surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. A great base also for visiting Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Florence and Pisa. Thanks also to Katia and her family who were extremely hospitable. (Guy, Luise, Charlotte, Harry Dunstan).
We stayed for a week in August 08 and had a fabulous time. Very quiet and relaxing but with lovely little shop within walking distance. I would strongly recommend it.(Gail Hargreaves).
We spent a week in septembre of 2008 in appartment Ginestra. We loved the silence and beautiful surroundings of Villamagna. If you like Tuscane but not the noise of the big city this is the place to be!Many of the "most see" villages and cities are easy to reach by car. The appartment is nice and with all the nesssacery cooking equipement. We recomend this place for a peaceful stay. (Inge & Marteen)

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
The build is new: we build it on 2005. The location is great and very quite, with a wonderful landscape. I love this area because I was born here and I want that a lot of people discovers these lands. Volterra is an Etruscan, roman and medieval town with a lot of things to see.
Unique benefits of the property
My farmhouse offers a very quite holiday in the middle of Tuscany's hills. It's OK for children, for families but also for young or old couple. We're a family and the guests feel like at their home.
