This luxury apartment with breathtaking views is located only 400m from the beautiful lakeside village of Argegno with numerous bars, restaurants, shops and a busy passenger ferry port to take you all around the lake. A trip to the local panifico is a must, as is the local home made ice cream from Zoe's in the piazzo. Enjoy a morning espresso on the balcony or take a stroll to one of the many lakeside cafe's in the village. The apartment has 2 large double bedrooms with queen sized beds and a daybed in each. The large lounge has an L-shaped double sofa, LCD TV, DVD player, Playstation2, hi fi, Ipod station. Broadband internet connection available on request (must be pre-booked). The property in situated on a private gated road and is in a traditional Italian house. No smoking in apartment.
Accessibility
The apartment has about 15 steps down to the front door and would not be suitable for wheelchair users.

5 min stroll to small local beach beside pizzeria that rents sunloungers etc.
Plenty of other beaches all within 15 min drive along the lake

The famous and historical golf club of Menaggio is only a 15 min drive away.

Skiing
The ski resort is of Madessimo is approx 75mins away by car and boasts numerous runs to suit all levels of skier. Ski during the day and be back in time for dinner that evening.

All airports have rail links to Milan
Trains run frequently to Como town from Milan with regular bus service to ArgegnoCar hire recommended as their is so much to see.

Monza 40 mins. Como town 20 mins. Laglio (home village of George Clooney) 5 mins drive. Lake Lugano and Switzerland are only 30 mins away with fantastic mountain drives. Taxi transfer from airport can be arranged.

Went to St Moritz, it was snowing . the drive there was brilliant. We took the ferry to Bellagio took the funicular to Pigra. Walked up and down to square so many times. Happy Hours in Cafe Colombo.
