The Cherry Tree trullo was constructed in 1903 and has 8 cones (conical rooftops). It is found at the end of a lane, 15 min drive from Alberobello, Martina Franca and Locorotondo. The trullo is set in the middle of a 3.5 acre cherry orchard, interspersed with olive, almond and a walnut tree and completely surrounded by a dry stone wall. Roman steps lead into the 5x10m private pool which has a shallow end of 1.00 m and a deep end of 2.20m. Renovated in May 2007 the trullo provides superb accommodation for up to 5 people. Changeover day
Change over days are flexible. Departure before 12am. Arrival after 5pm. We are also flexible with arrival and departure times when possible.

Linen, towels and beach towels are included. Laundry is changed once a week. Initial and final cleaning are included. |

Outside
A 3.5 acre cherry orchard surrounds the trullo.
Beside the trullo is a terrace which is shaded by a pergola and has a barbecue and patio furniture.
Roman steps lead into the private 5m x 10m pool which has a shallow end of 1.00m and a deep end of 2.20m. There is a terrace with sun beds and an outside shower beside the pool.
Coast/Beach
There is a 45 minute drive to the beaches on either the Adriatic or the Ionian coasts. Puglia has 760 km of coastline offering beautiful bays with sandy and rocky beaches. From the Adriatic to the Ionian Sea, the coastline is sprinkled with bathing resorts, including famous thermal resorts on the Adriatic coast.
Travel
Bari and Brindisi Airports are 70 minutes drive. A car is essential to enjoy the surrounding area.

Driving distances:-
5 min to the nearest restaurant which is in a Masseria (old farmstead)
15 min to Locorotondo
15 min to Martina Franca.
15 min to Alberobello.
Less than 15 minutes: ice cream parlours, pizzerias, restaurants, historic sites, a theatre/cinema, shopping area, an aquapark and horse riding.
Less than 45 minutes: beaches, golf, safari park, theme park and grotto.

Baby-sitting can be arranged.
The Olive Harvest - we collect our olives in early to mid November at the Cherry Tree Trullo, only on warm sunny days otherwise it is not a pleasure. We usually picnic (with our own wine, of course!). The olives are taken to the olive mill for pressing into our own delicious, extra virgin olive oil.
