Casa Petra e Franco is part of the villa in our beautiful residence Corte Ferrari and is surrounded by flowers, olive trees and vineyards with beautiful views over Lake Garda. The residence is beautifully refined and welcoming and has a wonderful swimming pool area. Although part of our residence, the apartment is in our villa and is set aside from the other apartments we have, offering a haven of privacy and tranquillity. We are perfectly located, with the town centre and its bars, restaurants, pizzerias and shops only a 1 min walk away. 5 mins walk are the shores of Lake Garda where you will find lakeside restaurants, bars, ice-cream parlours and of course boat hire and scooter hire. The apartment is spacious and luxuriously furnished and has balconies overlooking the lake and a small private garden.

Notes on prices
The prices indicate a minimum and maximum price for each apartment per week in high and low season. Please contact us to ask the price for the period required. We will confirm prices on request. €150 Refundable Security Deposit payable upon arrival. Price includes: use of all of our facilities, the swimming pools, all bed linen and towels, water, electricity, gas and air-conditioning, final cleaning (apart the kitchen), WIFI.
Changeover day
Saturday is our normal changeover day, but we can accommodate you also for periods of less than one week (low season only) We will confirm prices on request.

| Living Rooms: | Large dining table from where you can see through the balcony doors to the vineyards and beyond to the lake. As well as a large sofa comfortably seating 6 persons there is a television, DVD player and stereo system. |

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is air-conditioned. Each room has independent temperature control (for use in winter) and underfloor heating.
Accessibility
The apartment is at the ground floor, every door is wide enough to pass with a wheelchair and one bathroom has been specially constructed and adapted for wheelchair users incuding the bath.
Outside
Casa Petra e Franco overlooks the swimming pool - ideal for parents to keep an eye on the kids! The pool is shared between the 14 apartments in the residence, and has plenty of space to relax. There are sunloungers and parasols for use.
There is also a childrens's play area close by. Shared BBQ facilities for all of our guests. There is private parking in our residence. Private garden with a set of table and chairs.
You can also take a walk from the vineyard where 'Chiaretto' (a sort of rosè) was born!
Coast/Beach
Our residence is only 5 mins walk away from the fantastic beach, where you can swim, scuba dive, windsurf and even rent a boat!
Golf
There are a 3 quality golf-courses near Moniga del Garda, the closest being 5 minutes away.
Travel
Nearest airports to our residence are Brescia (Ryanair) 45 mins, Verona (BA) 60 mins and Milan Bergamo (Ryanair) 80 mins. Nearest railway station 15 min is in Desenzano del Garda.
You can stay at Corte Ferrari also without a car,small shops are not too far,there is a bus stop,you can call a taxi or to use the ferry.
If holiday means relaxing by the pool, having some nice dinners in the restaurants, then you can avoid to hire a car. If you want to visit the area, we suggest to hire a car.
Distances
The railway station and motorway A4 are only 20 mins away. You can take the train in Desenzano del Garda that is only 10-15 minutes from here or drive to the following places: Venice (169 km), Milan (130km), Verona (50km) and Mantova (60km). Or visit all the lovely lake villages. If you have kids, we recomend Gardaland, MovieLand, Medieval times, Caneva World. They are 45 minutes from Corte Ferrari! Nearest golf course is 15 mins.
Further details
The centre of Moniga del Garda is dominated by the medieval castle, which nowadays contains homes. As well as its historical value, Moniga also offers excellent facilities including a bank, post-office, and tourist information office. The surrounding area is known as The Valtenesi and is an area dominated by terraces of olive trees and vineyards. The region is dotted with castles, villas and small villages and is renowned for its olive oil and wine, especially Chiaretto and Rosso! Make a tour of the local countryside renting a bike in a local shop. Or take a short stroll to the beach where you can swim or hire a boat (rappydrive). The south of Lake Garda has plenty for all the family to see and do, so why not take a trip to Gardaland, the largest theme park in Italy or one of the many water parks (Caneva, Alto Mincio) or botanical gardens (Parco Natura Viva, Giardino Sigurtà). There is plenty to do if you love water sports and we even have golf courses close by. Moniga del Garda is also an excellent base if you want to take a day-trip to Venice, Milan, Verona and Mantova. Why not visting "Il vittoriale" in Gardone or "Santa Giulia Museum" in Brescia? And to relax yourself, you can spend one day at the Aquaria in Sirmione: the best spa of the area is only 20 minutes from Moniga del Garda!
Booking notes
All prices include full use of all of our facilities including the swimming pool. All bed linen and towels are provided, free of charge and water, electricity; gas and air-conditioning are included in our prices. The final cleaning on departure and laundry of linen and towels is also included. To book, contact me via email and I will confirm availability. 30% deposit is to be paid when booking and the balance 4 weeks before arriving.

We had a fabulous holiday at Casa Petra e Franco. The apartment is superb - very spacious and very clean with all requirements.
The complex at Corte Ferrari is beautiful and really well maintained. You seem to have thought of everything.
The location is spectacular with beautiful views over the neighbouring vineyard leading down to the lake and further on to Sirmione, Desenzano and beyond.
B. and I really enjoyed the wine tasting in the big house.
You were lovely hosts and all the family agree that we will return to Lake Garda and to Corte Ferrari in the very near future (if not in next year, we will definitely return in the year after).
It was one of the best holidays we have had. The weather was so good during our two weeks.

We are a young couple working in the tourism business since 2004. We always try to do our best to fulfill our guests' needings and make their holiday unforgettable.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We restored Casa Petra e Franco as it' s one of the oldest buildings in Moniga del Garda about 15th Century.
We lived here till May 2006, then we decided to restore another part of the property and to let other people enjoy this fantastic house!
We love so much living here as you are close to the small center of Moniga, but with no buildings in front of you, only vineyard, olive trees and the lake!
Even if we were both born in this area, we should be used to such a nice panorama, but we still get exicite when we see it!
Then in general Moniga is fantastic as you out of the crowd but close to Desenzano's services. From here you can visit Venice, Verona, Mantova, all the lake villages.
Unique benefits of the property
