Town house, beautifully restored to a high standard. Relax on the terrace or cook in the fully equipped modern kitchen. 2 minutes walk to good restaurants and bars. Bed linen provided. Very nice comfortable modern 600 year old property with air conditioning for those hot nights! Super property of excellent standard. Not the usual rubbish!

Changeover day
Saturday or Sunday are the usual changeover days but we are happy to talk about individual requests.

Notes on accommodation
New heating/ air conditioning fitted to keep the house warm or cool. Lots of stairs but we have young children and they cope fine.
Not suitable for wheelchair users.
Accessibility
Plenty of car parking available at the end of the street approximately 80m away.
Outside
Sunloungers and lovely roof terrace. Unrivalled views of the town the sea and coastline.
Coast/Beach
You can drive to the beach at Bosa Marina in 5 minutes or walk in about 20 minutes. There are also some other beautiful beaches at S`Abbe Druche (8 minutes) or Compo Tito (10 minutes). Porto Alabe is a 10 minute drive where there is a huge Sandy Beach.
Golf
Golf is available at Is Arenas Golf Club which is situated near to Oristano. It takes about 40 minutes by car. Well worth playing.
Travel
Alghero Airport is about a 45 to 50 minute drive along an amazing scenic coastal road.
Olbia Airport is about a 2 hour drive.
Direct low cost flights with Ryanair from London Stansted, East Midlands and Liverpool Airports.
Distances
Bosa is approximately 35 miles from the Historic town of Alghero. Good shopping, marina and restaurants.
Beaches from a mile away and you will be based in Bosa town where you will find restaurants, bars, archeological sites including the Castle of Malaspina (1011).

Restaurant Borgo Sant Ignazio, 2 minute walk. Restaurant Sa Pischedda over the bridge, 5 minute walk. Bakers, butchers, fish merchants, supermarkets all within 3 or 4 minute walk.
The house is situated in the Centro Storico of Bosa on one of the pretty cobbled streets which date back over 500 years. The house is beautifully presented and was fully refurbished in 2005/2006. As you climb to the top of the house the view that awaits you is breathtaking as you look across the tearracotta roof tops and onto the sea at Bosa Marina in the distance.It will give you a taste of the unspoilt idyllic location you have arrived in. Look up the River towards the Church of San Pietro, an old Roman Church and the Cathedral is located on the North bank of the Temo river where you can rent canoes and pedaloes to go exploring. Facing you across the valley are the hills, which descends to the sparkling Blue of the Mediterranean. Behind you at the top of the hill you will see the Turreted Casttello Malaspina which stands witness to the long history of this area of Sardinia. It has stood defence to invasions from The Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Aragonese and Catalans. You can visit the Castle where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of Bosa and the valley around. There are magnificent beaches to the North and South within a short drive which will offer sublime peaceful bathing through to the more active pursuits of windsurfing and jetskiing. The water is crystal clear and more reminiscent of the Caribbean than the Med.
Restaurants and bars can be found within a short walk with a fabulous choice on offer from your classic Pizzaria or Trattoria through to fine a la carte dining. If your looking for something a little more up beat you can travel Bosa marina about a mile away where you will many nightclubs and bars which go on into the early hours. A stroll down the Corso following dinner is an Italian tradition followed by an ice cream at one of the many Gelaterias. Enjoy!
