The Isle of Bute - The small yet perfectly formed Isle of Bute is only 15 miles long and 5 miles wide, but it is filled with lots of attractions for visitors to enjoy. The Victorian resort town of Rothesay is filled with some of its original Victorian features and is linked to the mainland via a ferry. Isle of Bute cottages offer a sense of what the place was like in its heyday as a Victorian resort. The cottages on the Isle of Bute are the ideal accommodation option for families or large groups of friends who want to visit this wonderful little island and enjoy everything it has to offer.

The Castle

Bute even has its own castle, even though it is a little unusual with its round design. One of the most popular attractions, and perhaps also strangest of attractions are the original Victorian public toilets close to the ferry embarkation point. They are the finest example of such a building and have even been declared a national treasure. Apartments on the Isle of Bute will probably come with sea views, not difficult to achieve on such a small island. Holiday accommodation on the Isle of Bute is everything you want it to be and more, just what you need to enjoy every moment of your time here.

Mount Stuart

Set within a full 300 acres of gardens and woodlands Mount Stuart house is a marvel of Gothic architecture. It was constructed by the 3rd Marquess of Bute and a visit here is a great way to spend a day. Holiday rentals on the Isle of Bute are ideally located for visitors who want to catch the ferry over to Rothesay and explore the villages up and down the coastline. Take the time to view the amazingly rugged landscape of this part of Scotland, before heading back to your cosy holiday homes on the isle of Bute for a relaxing evening together.
