Two minutes stroll to long, safe, clean (awarded Blue Flag) sandy Ventry Beach, the closest beach to Dingle. Lifeguard on duty throughout high season. Perfect for beach walks, swimming, wind surfing and fishing. The mackeral wave to you in August! Ventry beach is a long horseshoe shaped beach. Or visit nearby famous Coumeenole beach, not for swimming as the waves are unreal, but to see where the film "Ryans Daughter" was filmed.
