Bumble cottage is furnished to a very high standard, sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms (we can accomodate upto 8 at extra cost) one of which is en-suite with 4poster, Rooms have UK TV via Sat, the lounge is spacious and has TV, DVD/VHS and vast video library the kitchen has all the mod cons including a washing machine, piano. Bumble cottage is situated on a 1/3 acre and has a children's play area to the rear and a BBQ terrace to the side, the front faces out onto the rural countryside of Co. Kerry. The bustling town of Listowel is just moments away and home to the writer’s museum, St Johns theatre and Ireland’s 1st and maybe only steam Monorail, Listowel Castle and a great nightlife with its many pubs and restaurants. There are many golf courses in the area, a 9 hole in Listowel itself and 20 minutes drive the famous ranges of Ballybunion. Ballybunioin has a wonderful silver sandy beach. Bumble cottage is ideally situated for touring Kerry and South Clare, just 20 minutes drive from the Shannon.

Notes on accommodation
All prices include electric, heating and bedding. Pets allowed Charges apply £10per/pet. Property sleeps 6 and can sleep 8 as there are sofa beds and fold up beds. Additional persons above 6 will be charged at £25/per/person.
Accessibility
There is a ramp to the front door and a path around the property.
Outside
Children’s play area, large garden area and a BBQ area with seating for 8 Persons and a huge BBQ. All gardens are fenced for children’s safety.

Ballybunioin is a 20 min drive, superb silver sand beach, other coastal beaches in the area.
Golf
Listowel 1 mile 9 hole. Ballybunioin 10 mile 18 hole x 2. Castle island 8 miles. Tralee 15 miles.
Special interest holidays
Listowel has it's own steam railway and is famous for it's writers museum.
Fishing, sea and river fishing on the Shannon or the Feale, with local fishing just over the road from the cottage.
Local Golf courses include, Listowel, Ballybunion, Castle island, Ballyheigue within easy reach of Tralee, Adare, Doonbeg, Kilarney all under 1 hour away.

Near the cottage you will fin, Listowel writers museum, Lartigue Steam Mono Rail, Listowel Park and Memorial to the Jews killed during WWII, St Johns Centre, plays, concerts - all worth a visit. Tralee, Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Crag Caves, Shannon River and Car ferry to Clare.

We had a very enjoyable time last week thank you
The highlight was a trip down to Inch beach in Dingle via Connor pass, and maybe the Guinness!!
The cottage was very nice and comfortable, with plenty of room for the four of us. I don’t think we wanted for anything while we were there.
Noreen was very helpful as well, even getting a mechanic to come out when I had a problem with my car.

About the owner
Karen and I (Steve) in Birmingham and fell in love with County Kerry. We have had Bumble Cottage since 2006 and the cottage has been very popular.
Many of those who have stayed with us return every year.
We have made sure that the cottage has all the home we would expect.
We find that Listowel is such welcoming place and everyone has time for each other and not in a hurry, which makes a welcome change from living in a busy city.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Listowel is a lovely traditional Irish Town with an abundance of character.
We purchased Bumble Cottage as it has easy access to all ports and airports and easy access to tour both County Kerry, County Claire and County Limerick.
Close to the coast with easy access to many famous seaside locations such as Ballybunion and Ballyheigue.
A short drive and you are on the Ring of Kerry or the Dingle Peninsula.
Golf round here is great, Adare, Ballybunion, Doonbeg, Castle Island are all close by.
Me and my son love fishing and with the Feale and the Shannon close by, it’s great for us. We often go to Tarbert till dusk for a spot of sea fishing or even just across the road and fish of the bridge.
Listowel has museums, a castle, steam railway, restaurants & pubs galore.. Perfect!

Kids= large garden, play & picnic area, Fishing jus yard way and CBBC & CITV along with kids dvds and games.
