The area has also the best golf courses in the area such as Waterville Golf Links and Skelllig bay golf in Waterville. Its the ideal location for all types of water-sports activities with its calm sheltered inlets and safe sandy beaches. Whatever your preferred water activity this coastline will be sure to please. This location will challenge the most competitive water sporting enthusiasts while at the same time nearby offers a gentler environment for beginners of all ages. The water centre at Derrynane Pier is only a short distance from the house where most of the outdoor water activities start from. The area is also very well known for deep sea fishing.

The house is located approximately 2 Kilometres before the village of Castlecove on the N70 from the direction of Sneem on the Ring of Kerry. When leaving Killarney drive in the direction of Sneem and its about 10 kilometres from the town of Sneem in the direction of Caherdaniel. The house is about 300 yards before the white Strand beach of Castlecove on the right hand side of the road.
