Ar Neamh Beag (which is Gaelic for "My Little Heaven") This property is situate on a truly awesome and very unique setting, perched about 200 feet above sea level and with panoramic views of Bantry Bay and the Atlantic ocean. Located on the famed Sheep's Head peninsula which received the European Destination of Excellence (EDEN) award in 2009. The house is also nestled at the foot of Mount Seefin on the Goat's path walking and cycling route. Relax in the grounds, which comprise over one acre of landscaped gardens, or go walking or cycling the quaint country roads on this wonderful peninsula. The local pier is within a mile of the property. Ideal base for touring West Cork & Kerry and must be seen to be appreciated! The house itself is a three-bed bungalow and fronts directly onto Bantry Bay, providing uninterrupted views of the sea from the front bedrooms, sitting room and dining room. There are 3 bedrooms, one of which is ensuite.

Outside
Spectacular location with over an acre of manicured grounds, incorporating private sun bathing areas and natural stone seats at the front of the garden which overlook Bantry bay and the Atlantic ocean. A new outdoor room was constructed in the winter of 2011, affording the visitor a cosy, sheltered, secluded and private area with panoramic views. Watch the lighthouse flash from across the bay or view the amazing white horses on the Atlantic ocean during winter gales. Enjoy the newly planted herbatious border in another part of the garden or picnic on the splendid rockery at the rear of the house with views to the Atlantic Ocean to the west.

Coast/Beach
The property is on the coast. Kilcrohane c.3.5 miles away offers a small pebble beach. For those requiring a large sandy beach, Barleycove beach on the Mizen Head is recommended for a day trip. When there, take the opportunity to visit Mizen Head; the most southerly point in Ireland. The Fastnet Rock is visible on clear days

The 170 acre Bantry Bay Golf Club is a Christy O’Connor Junior and Eddie Hackett designed USGA standard course, located, a short drive outside Bantry town in West Cork, Ireland.
Bantry Bay features… an 18 hole Championship golf course, which is open year round. It is situated in a very scenic setting with 14 holes overlooking the bay. There are lovely sea views to the Islands and the Beara mountains.
The Bantry Bay golf course serves up a nice challenge to the scratch and handicap golfer alike, from the 126 meter par 3 to the long 487 meter par 5.
Although a relatively new course, it has attracted over 100 overseas members, perhaps enticed by lifetime overseas membership.
