Changeover day
The changeover day is Saturday but this is negotiable depending on the booking arrangement. Departure time is 10am and arrival time is after 2pm.

Coastal access is a 10 minute walk and the nearest beach is a 5 minute drive.
Golf
There are 3 golf courses (1*9 hole and 2*18 hole) within a 20 minute drive of Árd Glas. Coosheen, a beautiful 9-hole links course overlooking Schull harbour, is the closest and is only 4 miles away. Others courses include Skibbereen and West Carbery Golf Club and Bantry Bay Golf Club.

Cork airport is 60 miles away. Car hire is available and recommended.

Further details
Ballydehob is home to many artists and craft shops while the beautiful fishing village of Schull is a haven for sailors, fishermen and water sports enthusiasts. Deep-sea angling boats operate out of Schull and shore fishing is also very popular. The boat-angling season is from April to October and shore fishing continues up to December.
The local pubs regularly host live music and folk sessions. The restaurants are very highly rated and seafood caught locally is a specialty.
