Bramble Cottage makes an ideal base for a touring holiday of the northwest or for enjoying the many activities offered in the area, including golf, fishing, horse riding and hill walking. We are located opposite the main gates of the renowned Rathmullan House Hotel.

It is noteworthy that all 3 bedrooms in the house are extra spacious, in keeping with the luxury specification of the cottage. The main hallway has a vaulted ceiling affording a wonderful sense of space. |

Notes on accommodation
Bramble Cottage is ideal for children as it is located in a quiet wooded area away from main roads. There is plenty of open space to run around in. Rathmullan beach is only a 5 minute walk away and the local Equestrian Centre is just next door!

Outside
The grounds surrounding Bramble Cottage are beautifully landscaped and feature many native species trees. The large patio area to the rear of the cottage has patio furniture and a barbecue and makes an ideal area for relaxing after a day spent exploring the many delights of County Donegal.
Coast/Beach
Bramble Cottage is within 5 mins walk of Rathmullan's superb 3km long sandy beach. There is a pier in the village which is suitable for swimming and fishing. A car ferry, operating during summer months, connects to Buncrana on the other side of the lough. There is also a small marina attached to the pier.
Golf
Donegal is noted for its many fine links courses and Bramble Cottage is within easy driving distance of the truly spectacular Portsalon Golf Club. Other clubs within 1 hour driving distance include Ballyliffin Golf Club, Rosapenna Golf Club, Dunfanaghy Golf Club, Letterkenny Golf Club, Murvagh Golf Club.

‘Thanks for such a great base for a great holiday. This is our 10th year holidaying in Rathmullan but our first stay here and it didn't disappoint! Weather has been kind to us on the whole and we've had some great days enjoying the sun, sea and sand both here and at the kid's favourite Ballymastocker Bay.
